Chicken fried steak is the best in town, but the music (live) and the atmosphere is also great. For anyone who likes country, country music, or country food (!), this is the place to be. Steaks, breakfast buffets, you name it, it is all here. Sadly, Buck Owens passed away, so the placed is run by relatives, but the feeling... More

Even if you are not a follower of Country music you owe it to yourself to visit the Crystal Palace and look at all the memorabilia left by the late great Buck Owens. The food is tasty and the portions so generous you may want to consider sharing a plate with your mate. The entertainment is clean, fun and easy... More

I have seen some of the best Country Performers here, a great venue not a bad set in the whole place. The food is also very good. Something for everyone. Get there early so you can walk around and see all the exhibits.

This is a must if you have time. The food is delicious and the shows are fun. It is loud in there but there is a lot to see. Nice place to dance.

This is a must do if visiting Bakersfield. Food is good, they are known for a huge Chicken Fried Steak, that comes on a platter, split it for normal appetite. The place is a museum to Buck Owens, one of Bakersfield's most well known citizens, lots to see, including his actual car over the bar. Also name country music stars... More

We have been going here since Buck Owens opened the Palace. He performed there up until the day he died. The Buckaroos continue to perform before a packed house. The food is good, but I feel a little over priced. They have a dance floor in front of the elevated stage. Check their website for events and gift store. The... More

Buck Owens Crystal Palace the perfect place for Country Music lovers. They have excellent food & service. Plenty of Country memorabilia. When Buck was still with us, he & his band played every night. Now they still have tons of music venues. Mostly Country and the like...I saw Cake there several years ago, it was great because you can be... More

I've already reviewed this place but given a chance to recommend this to others, ill take as a privilege. This place can take you back in time and also allow you to see the growth in the culture, music, dances, food...and people. Great sights and sounds and taste of food. You will have so much fun.

The displays are interesting. The music is great. The food is really good - especially the Sunday buffet. A good place to take out of town visitors. Kids enjoy it too.
