Choose a nice clear day in the winter season, catch the funicular to the mid station, take in the fantastic views and get a sun tan sat in your deckchair in the snow. As I'm not good with heights and don't do cable cars, this is plenty high enough for me so I can't say what it looks like from... More

The Rosshutte is beautiful with two second stage cable car options after a funicular to take up either to the top of the ride or over to the the Harmelkopf across a ravine. I have walked all over it and my only gripes are as follows: The lifts are a bit expensive for walkers and the second stage cable car... More

Fantastic views and loved sunbathing in the deckchairs by the restaurant at the top of the funicular railway. Adventure Pass for 24 euros good value - gives one day return on each of the funicular and both gondolas and tea/coffee and any cake at the restaurant. Quiet slopes for skiiers.

After an enjoyable journey up on the funicular we enjoyed a meal at the mountain restaurant before skiing the slopes. Free deckchairs to sunbathe in were an added bonus plus the food was excellent value and very tasty.

The Rosshutte is an excellent stop off up the mountain ideal for those skiing who obviously jump off there but also it is just as easy to take the family and young childen to see the views which are amazing. we have been in summer and winter and would recommend it to anyone. the restaurant is well stocked with local... Grab yourself a deck chair and enjoy the fantastic views. The train ride up the mountain is well worth it with a restaurant at the top you can sit for hours looking at the views and watching the skiers. Snowboard or ski down or simply get back on the train.

We enjoyed the views from the top but disappointed that there were no walking trails. Many options for eating - good choice of food. Clean facilities but very busy

Easy and organised , good warm ski locker area. Good place for catching the ski bus to the town or other ski areas.

Great pistes, well cared for, quiet and stunning scenery. Although the piste maps are a bit dodgy and we got lost a few times, but not sure if that's more down to our faulty map reading! Also, the piste classification is a bit confusing - some blues were a halfway house and could intimidate beginners.
