The area was really crowded during evening. No doubt one of the very big lakes which I have seen in India. There was also some cope for boating. One could see old Bhopal at the other side of the lake which I couldn’t explore.

a nice clean lake where you could enjoy boating. a snack bar managed by MPTDC offers nice reffreshments and seems a good place to hangout. the cleanliness maintained by the people working around the lake should be a case-study for people all over india. especially mumbai.

The upper lake is a huge rainfed fresh water lake. The boat has facilities for canoeing and there are some dinner cruises in the night. It is a clean and well maintained lake , compared to some of the lakes in Bangalore

Vastness of the lake is amazing. This should be called a sea rather than a lake. You cannot see the other end if you are standing at one. locals tell that perimeter is 39 kms. boating is allowed in this lake which make it more enjoyable.
recommend to visit this during the evening time for best enjoyment.
