Bala Krishna temple is temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. This temple is not so much ruined and renovation work is also being taken up. The place is calm and you can see the sculptors of 10 incarnations of Vishnu here , which is beautifully portarayed. Never miss to see it. There is a bazaar to the one end of the... More

Once upon a time Hampi was the capital of Vijayanagar kingdom, which dominated a large part of south India. But today that mighty capital lies in ruins as though a reflection in the mirror of impressive past. You will enjoy nature in its stunning landscape strewn with rocky outcrops and gigantic granite boulders hemmed in lush greenery. Hampi is on... More

Quiet temple, off the other busy temple complexes, and equally soaring architecture and sculpture work. You'd do well to visit.

Krishna Temple is a quiet temple close to the busy and loud Virupaksha Temple. You can sit there in calm for hours. The temple overlooks the bazar of older times.

Another small gem in the Royal enclosure. One can easily imagine cooling off under its roof 500 years ago.

beautiful big temple complex dedicated to Lord Krishna. The temple gopuram is in bad ruined form and restoration work is under progress. The temple has one inner praharam. In front of the temple is again a huge bazar. At the end of the bazar is the temple tank. It was absolutely calm and we were walking hearing our own foot... More

The gopuram and other top portions of the temple are made up of bricks. Though they have stood the test of time, they are withering away. A quiet place (compared to other attractions at Hampi) The pushkarini and market outside temple are good. Apparently, diamonds, gold and silver were sold in these markets.
