A beautiful place, nestled in the trees up the hill from McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala. They're host to wonderful teachers including Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo and many more. There's a small library where you can both borrow and purchase books and Buddhist paraphernalia. The accommodation is spartan but eminently suitable for meditation and retreat.

I took part in Tushita's 10-day Introduction to Buddism course recently. It was an absolutely life-changing experience. It is tough on body and mind, but worth it. I would recommend this course if you are interested in learning more about your mind. I have a pang of homesickness when I think of Tushita.

I have never been to a more enlightening enlivening place than this ever before. Every wall at this center is communicating to you. It's visual communication at its best. I am totally invigorated to have a piece of cake for HH Dalai Lama´s birthday. A paradise for spiritual people.

One of my colleagues has deep interest in meditation. It's his interest that took me to this place and I was in awe of the place. This is a centre for the study and practice of Buddhism from the Tibetan tradition.

Haven of spiritual calm. Morning drop-in meditations, such a joy! Great library, which lends out books for a small fee (deposit required).

This is a special place, if you take a course . Many good Teachers are there and you'll be satisfied with all you'll learn. The food is good , although I did not stay overnight I 'm planning to go there and stay for sometimes.

I did the Introduction to Buddhism at Tushita and it was one of the coolest, most challenging things i've done. I really enjoyed it even though i found it very difficult at times. The accommodation is really good but even better is the food! It is so nice and i looked forward to every meal! The peanut butter and the... More

If you walk up from Mcleodganj, you reach dharamkot and right at the entry, you find Tushita. The hall of this meditation centre will take you to another world. Also, there is a short cut to go back to Mcleod from here!
