I didn't have the opportunity to take the course here and I wish I did. Nevertheless, I would suggest everyone visiting McLeod Ganj to at least stop by for the one hour meditation sessions in the morning. Great experience and I can't wait to come back for the course!

I can truly say that doing the 10 days Introduction to Buddhism retreat course is one of the best decisions I´ve made in my life! By doing this course and keeping up with the silence you will learn so much about yourself and the world around you! The food is amazing, and the natural surroundings is astounding. Great teachers and... More

My friends and I tried our hands at the intro course. It was tough, mentally and physically. Don't try unless you're willing to go all the way with the silence, it is worth it. You're going to have doubts about it, keep going.

Beautiful meditation center with interesting events and courses. Accommodations and food are great. Monkeys add a little spice to an otherwise very tasteful experience.

Nice dharma center to visit and relax silently. Free movie day and guided meditation, and best of all the library. Some teachings available to the public. Most are residency courses that can be booked online ahead of time. They are often fully booked weeks before.

Attended one puja and 2 one hour guided meditation sessions - across a span of 3 days. After each session we spent 1 hour outdoors in the premises of the centre doing nothing but just BEING there. Every second spent in this place - both during meditation and after, was nothing but bliss - spiritually and physically.

It is hard to put into words how I feel about Tushita; the experience was in many ways life changing. The foundation I now have in Buddhist philosophy is already giving so much more depth to the reading that I am doing on spirituality and Buddhism. H.H Dalai Lama's teachings also had so much more meaning with this foundation. Most... More
