this place reflects the part, work, archives of tibet. basically dharamsala is a place of dalailama. and tis place reflects dalailama's and tibets works.

this is a place full of knowledge. you cont go around and finish viewing around in just one day. learning the language felling the spirituality wondering the art and lot more to go...place to know all and even more

The Library of Tibetan works and Archives is a beautiful building complex, nestled amonst the Tibetan Government in Exile buildings in the area called Gankyi, halfway between lower Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj. If you are visiting Dharamshala and interested in Buddhism, I would highly recommend taking/joining the classes on Buddhist philosophy at the Library!

This library contains very good holdings, very informative and authentic collections. If you have interest in knowing history of Tibbet or Tibetans, this is the most appropriate place to visit.

The library is a treasure -house of Tibetan art, history and Buddhism. If you want to develop a deeper understanding of what you see from outside this is the place to visit. An eye opener. You will get to see the the true Tibetan culture here. Again approach is the problem, a steep and narrow road to climb.

For casual visitors, the Tibetan library (LTWA) has enough to make the trip worthwhile with its collections of books and photos.
