The day we visited the place, weather was excellent. Enjoyed the scenic beauty at the fullest. Visiting the fort was an experience that I will never forget. Other than being a historical place, I found different species of birds here. It takes time to view the fort thoroughly so travellers should reach here with sufficient time in hand.

A must visit, the Kangra Fort is the ultimate fort to visit. Slightly difficult to access, but once there you in for a treat. Take an audio tour guide, well worth the Rs 100/-. The voice of Roshan Seth is an added attraction. The view of the Dhauldars, the Kangra Valley is something to cherish. A must visit.

If you are history enthusiast, this is must place to visit while in Dharamsala/Mcleodganj. Would recommend you to take the audio guide (available at the entrance of the fort), which will give you an insight of the history of the fort and numerous battles associated with it. Don't miss the Jain Temple at the base of the fort, which has... More

From Mcleodganj we decided to drive till Gallu devi temple and then trek 6 km uphill. What we were not prepared for was trekking on snow, for almost 4 km was covered in snow. The first two km are pretty leisurely though uphill, but afterward (being March), there is melting snow to trek on and you have to be very... More
