Kangra Valley is beautiful and quaint just like out of a Ruskin Bond book. Somewhere you can see train tracks and railway tunnels, somewhere you can see birds that are native to this region. The overall quietude is a welcome change from the city hustle and bustle.

It was a family visit along with my cousins and overall a nice experience i would say. Its quiet , peaceful and away from the hubhub of modern life that usually crushes people down in the dust and noise that are the part n parcel of metropolitan cities. The restaurants of the area are good and its clean and tidy

Do go and visit the Kangra fort , with the river flowing on its three sides and deep gorges all around ,Dauladhar mountain ranges in the background is worth a visit .And the rich history of this place add glamour to the well maintained place. Do drink natural water from the Gomukh right at the entrance of the Fort.

We stopped on our way to dharamsala and well worth the visit, paid for the audio guide which is a must otherwise you miss out on so much information. The views are spectacular, stonework amazing, do not pass this fort or you will regret it.
