Great Mountain bike trial and the cheese is out of this world. Make sure you buy some to take home. Setting of the restaurant is beautiful and have a relaxing atmosphere.

The mountain bike trail is very poorly marked and dangerous. It is a single track trail but allows for two way traffic. I almost had a head on collusion with an oncoming biker than came downhill around a blind corner. Bikers are not warned ahead of time that the trail allows for two way traffic. We will not be riding... More

Loved the picnic by the river as well as lunch. Really worth a visit, even if it's just to buy cheese! :)

Visit this very interesting farm in the Magaliesburg. Not only do you get to know a lot about cheesemaking, but you can buy great cheeses at very reasonable prices. Have a lovely breakfast in true Dutch tradition or enjoy a Dutch treat on the stoep!

Surroundings are beautiful. The cheese tour did not quite meet our expectation. A bit overpriced at R85 pp including a beverage and slice of cake. Well we didnt quite get enough slices for all in my group and by the time it came, well lets just say a bit too late. (This is served at the end of the tour)The... More

Lovely for riverside picnic - you must order your picnic basket a day in advance but it is really worth it and the picnic spots are secluded

Do not go there if expecting glitz and glamour. Lovely place for a quiet, peaceful, "old fashioned" day out in the sun. Several spots opened up under shady trees next to a small river. Enough space for young kids to run around. Staff friendly; very good cheese/picnic baskets; blankets supplied. Shop needs some attention - quite dark inside.

We popped in here since we were in the area, but were somewhat disappointed. The inside of the building lacks natural light and the furniture and fixtures were tired and dated. We tasted some cheeses, which were good. There is a large selection of imported (Dutch) goodies on sale. The kids play equipment could do with some work (old tractor... More

travelled out over 100kms for lunch, dissapointing when I saw the menu it was so limiting.. and overpriced in my opinion. Service was slow. the location is magnificient, surrounded by mountains. bought some cheese and chutney from the shop, good value and tasty.

Obviously the focus has moved away from the cheese to other things! Service bad and everything looks tired. Used to pop in often but no more! Very sad!!
