Ever wanted to be a Victorian adventurer ? Then go for a hike up mount Kenya. Mild challenge in an amazing environment with breath taking views (as well as the hike taking your breath). Don't think about it, go and do it.

We had a fantastic experience - 5 days trekking climbing to PT Lenana with the team of Go To Mountain Kenya company led by Zacharis. Before the trip Evans helped us a lot: First by selecting the best team to support myself and my son, Second selecting the best way to climb the mountain( ascending via Chogoria trek and descending... As the name state. The name derived from the great Mount Kenya. It has a fabulous view of the mountain. Best in meals, accommodations and great service.

If it's good weather, clean air and a picturesque site you want. This is the place to visit. Probably the cleanest air anywhere. Carry warm clothes, a hot water bottle and a good camera.

Had an amazing trek in April with Go to Mt. Kenya. Communication was quick and helpful, and everything was followed through on exactly as described. Josaphet was my guide--he was very helpful, kind, and provided a great trip. Food was great. Acommodations were basic but comfortable. The trek was beautiful--up Sirmian and down Chongoria--and I was picked up and dropped... More

We climbed Mount Kenya (Point Lenana) with 'Equitorial Star' - an truly incredible local organisation, which is owned and operated by locals! My girlfriend and I did a 5 day tour, up Sirimon and down Chogoria. Our guide was Duncan - the man who started Equitorial Star in an attempt to keep some of the tourist dollars in Kenya, and... Our trek was actually back in 2011 (but April 2014 was the furthest back I could go on the page), and I still remember it clearly today. It was incredible, and definitely something you don't want to miss out on if you're in Kenya. Yes, it's hard work, but the views are worth it (plus you might lose a few... More

We had a great experience with gotomtkenya! Josphat was our guide, and he was friendly and got us to the top despite a bout of altitude sickness. However, he was informed and professional and knew how to safely monitor our symptoms to make sure we summited safely. Food was good and plentiful.
