I Planned to take on Mt Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro on Oct 2014 I decided this way after Hugh research. to be clamitized on Mt kenya before doing Mt Kilimanjaro. After looking into many African tour operators, I decided to go with Tro-Peaks Adventure which was a great decision! Their Prices, guides, safely and food were outstanding. I have offered... More

I have climbed Mt. Kenya twice - first in June 2013 and again in November 2014 - using Go To Mt. Kenya trekking company and had an amazing experience both times. The company is extremely professional and accommodating and clearly makes the needs of their clients a top priority. When booking the second time around, we changed the dates of... More

If you are not trekking the mountain for landscape then don't miss the chogoria route. it is breathtaking. Amazing 7 day experience with gotomountkenya on mount Kenya. I chose the company because of the positive reviews here and I was still pleasantly surprised. Evans was extremely helpful, professional and flexible. I changed the trip date a couple of times, we... This Mountain is the only mountain located exactly in Equator and when you are up there you may think you are in another place due to formational features, like sharp peaks, escarpments, gorges, lobelia plants and mostly what makes this mountain to be different with other mountains,is hanging tarns that are above 4400 meters above sea level.

I thought I would rest, and read, and spend some time photographing Mount Kenya. As I sat alone on the porch of the tent, a monkey came up and stared at me. I... More

Excellent trip in all respects. The scenery was spectacular and the guide, porters, and cook made hiking and camping a pleasure. Especially enjoyed the never-ending canisters of tea that kept us going until we reached the top just in time for sunrise. The trip was very well organized and we even arranged to be dropped off at the airport at... More
