From our first communication with Evans, all correspondence and arrangements were promptly and efficiently handled. We were also not disappointed with our guides, Zachary and Samson, who were very attentive, extremely patient, and highly experienced. Zachary recommended alternative routes on Days 2 and 3, which turned out to be very beautiful and worthwhile. We also decided to summit during the... More

To start with the email communication was excellent with this company, quick replies and questions answered fully by Evans. This was a perfect trip from start to finish. I loved it from the moment the guys from GoToMtKenya picked me up from the hotel to the moment they dropped me back, 5 days later. Everything worked like a clock work... More

Had a great time, two days up one day down, followed by 3 elephants at the bottom. All in all a well organized trip, make sure you pack for weather that can be as hot as 34c to -15c I should of pack a bit more for the colder climates! I literally spent about 4 minutes at the summit!

A fabulous sight to see especially first thing in the morning with the sunrise. Part of our Kenya overall experience. As we got nearer the Mountain we couldn't believe just how HUGE it really was. And its different from different angles as you travel round the country.

I had an amazing time trekking Mount Kenya. It was beautiful and worth every penny. I took the sirimon and Chogoria Route and they were beautiful. Read about my trip at: http://www.bigheartsmallworld.com/2015/08/snow-in-kenya-mount-kenya-climb.html it would not have been possible wiht Equitorial Star Adventure Safaris who gave me a great price, amazing guides, porters and cooks. All the guides and porters were... More

If you like hiking and want to acclimatise before doing Kilamanjaro then this is the place. Definitely a must see it's beautiful, quiet and much cheaper in terms of park fees. The summit Lanana is 4985m above sea level.

I am 66 years old and decided it was time to take my daughters and don in law trekking in Mt Kenya. After much researching chose GotoMtKenya which proved to be an excellent choice. We chose the Chogoria traverse and were able to take our time and make detours to see waterfalls and viewpoints. We camped twice and here the... More

We hiked the 6 nights Chogoria-Sirimon route with "Gotomountkenya.com" and were very pleased with the service we received. The team of porters, cooks and guides was lead by Zack who was very knowledgeable about the trails, wildlife and the mountains. The scenery on this route was unbelievably beautiful and it allowed us to acclimatise in time for our accent up... More
