Took 75 school aged after school students on the Van Buren leg of this tour a few years back and my 87 year old Mom last year. The staff is courteous, the ride takes you back to a simpler time. A wonderful experience for young or old :) More

My husband and I loved our trip to Van Buren on the train! Our time in Van Buren was wonderful and we loved the shops we visited. When you ride the train with a friend, ride in the second car so you can talk. The first car is really fun with the staff, but when the train whistles you cannot... More

First of all I want to say that I'm an avid train enthusiast. I think its really great that the A & M RR offers an excursion trip in vintage pullman cars on track that was once traveled by passengers regularly. I will also say that all of the staff were very nice. Our conductor was very informative of historic... More

We highly recommend the trip from Springdale to VanBuren. It was just so lovely and relaxing. There's nothing like the click clack of the wheels on the track to mesmerize. The stopover in Van Buren was nice. There were a few gift shops and restaurants. We had a quick bite to eat a short walk from the depot and plenty... More

A very enjoyable vintage train ride! Called ahead and reserved my seat on the train. Arrived at the depot about 45 minutes before departure and had no problems paying for my reservation at the depot. There was a long line for the restrooms before departure, but there are public restrooms in Van Buren a short two blocks away from the... More

We rode the train during the fall foliage tour. Didn't realize it when we booked, but we were with a photography club, so the train made additional stops and let us get off to take pictures. Snacks were somewhat limited, and the box lunch was ham/cheese on croissant, with chips and cookies. Our stay in VanBuren was cut short because... More
