Wroxham Barns is one of Norfolk's leading tourist attractions. With its accent firmly on quality and with strong green credentials, it manages that really rather rare thing - of appealing to different ages. Grown-ups enjoy pottering around the shops and workshops, often chatting to the artists themselves or stopping to watch a craftsman create something unique. With a wood turner, stained glass specialist and Chris Hutchins from Norfolk Sketches, you will find the gift that is just that bit special. Fashion lovers should seek out the Gallery where labels such as Seasalt, Ness and Steilmann are on offer along sidehand bags, scarves, hats and more. And Sugar and Spice offers quirky children's pieces which are much more fun than items offered in the High Street. Foodie lovers are especially well catered for as the Pantry is packed with delicious food, much sourced locally so you can stock up your own store cupboards with jams, chutneys, oils, wines and more.

When we visited we were amazed to find most of the units closed for the day or most of the week. We were there with many others in the right period they advertised as being open. As each unit is operated as a separate business but all of an craft nature the owners have to "take a chance" on us... More

Firstly to Vik1947 our apologies for the disappointment in finding some of our outlets closed when they visited. We set out to be open 7 days a week all year round. We guarantee that our main gifts gallery (for gifts, stationery, clothes & accessories and Norfolk themed gifts, along with our Pantry food shop will be open every day. Likewise... More

Loved the layout, although it needs to be dry weather to get the most out of it. You can buy bags of food to feed the horses, ponies, donkeys and goats and sheep. Most of the animals are very keen to be fed! There are lambs to be fed in spring time and lessons on small animal care. There is... More

We are always pleased to read positive reviews, many thanks for sharing. We agree that the best weather to enjoy everything is preferably not raining….but we do have plenty that is undercover, both in Junior Farm and within the Wroxham Barns complex. And, yes, handwashing is very important. We hope dear reader that you will take the time to read... More

Visited here at beginning and end of our Norfolk broads boating holiday.(Need a car to get to it). Various different 'shops' to visit in the crafty category. Also a small farm (entrance charge). Absolutely lovely garden centre section and shop. Two places to choose from to eat with outdoor and indoor seating. My only criticism would be the lack of... More

A very fair review, clearly our friends in LeGrice Roses did a great job. Your comment about “real souvenirs” is interesting; we are open all year round and many of our customers are local residents. We do stock a good range of “gifts for tourists” but within the wider context of a range of gifts for everybody. We also try... More

Not much here to do and very few shops, great fudge shop but that's about it. Definitely marketed towards young kids with lots of toys and a big play area but not recommended if it's just adults in your party.

We all are entitled to our opinion and this is how Martin B saw us. We actually have 13 different shops…sewing and patchwork, artist and picture framing, baby and childrens fashions and accessories, Craft supplies and gemstone jewellery, woodturning, stained glass, pottery, apple and cider, Pantry food shop, Legrice Roses and Plant Centre, Gallery for gifts and clothes…..and as Martin... First time for us, visiting with our grandchildren. We didn`t go in the shops so i cannot comment on those although there are quite a few to visit, with a restaurant and a cafe at this attraction also. Because we were short of time we only visited the animal part of the attraction. Yes you had to pay to get... More

Excellent setting of different craft shops. Also lovely restaurants to eat a full meal or just have a coffee and snack. Good amusements for children and lovely farm area for children to handle animals. Shops very useful for unusual gift as presents.

some people really do not know what to moan about next. We visited on 4/5/15 with our 15 month old grandson who had a lovely time in the petting farm and really loved getting covered in straw and running off with the lady's broom. We will be returning again. Also the cider man was a perfect gentleman so leave the... More

I guess I was a little disappointed with this place last time I visited, the shops with their crafty bits and bobs were lovely but very expensive, the children's petting area and fairground you had to pay to get into, not the best day out for us.

We are always sad when a visitor doesn’t quite gel with us.Of course we cannot be perfect for everybody but we do try. Just a small point of detail, you do not pay to enter the childrens funfair but rides are paid by token. Everybody agrees that our craft shops are lovely; it is a sad reality that you get... More

Visited on a bank holiday Monday so it was very busy. Really suprised at how much nicer it is since I last visited a few years ago. Lots for young kids to do as well as a good selected of shops for adults to browse through. Resonably priced. Would definetly come back.

Went to Wroxham Barns on 1/05/15 for my friends daughters third birthday. My niece and her three yo also came. It was a wonderful day out and we all loved feeding the animals, and the girls loved the soft play area. It was so much more than I expected and we all plan to visit again. However, the only complaint... More

Thank you Grace R for your really positive review. We are so sorry for the “jarring note” incident. We have no excuse, the team are suitably “pulled-up” by your comments and cross that they let themselves (and us) down. Our ladies are a great team and do a great job but we are only as good as how our last... More
