With its accent firmly on quality and with strong green credentials, it manages that really rather rare thing - of appealing to different ages. Grown-ups enjoy pottering around the shops and workshops, often chatting to the artists themselves or stopping to watch a craftsman create something unique. With a wood turner, stained glass specialist and Chris Hutchins from Norfolk Sketches, you will find the gift that is just that bit special. Fashion lovers should seek out the Gallery where labels such as Seasalt, Ness and Steilmann are on offer along sidehand bags, scarves, hats and more. And Sugar and Spice offers quirky children's pieces which are much more fun than items offered in the High Street. Foodie lovers are especially well catered for as the Pantry is packed with delicious food, much sourced locally so you can stock up your own store cupboards with jams, chutneys, oils, wines and more. « less

Wow what an amazing show and good value for money!!!! I took my three year old for her birthday treat and we were all engrossed in the talented show. They should charge more to be honest and the fact that it was fairly small just made you feel part of it all. We shall def go again next year if... More

We visited on our way to holiday in Norfolk. The variety and quality of the shops (all independent crafty shops) was good. The food in the restaurant was speedily served, the Norfolk shortcake was tasty. The staff gave us the recipe to try at home! Our simple sandwich was massive with a large helping of salad! An enjoyable visit, and... More

A pleasant visit to this centre which has free access and parking but you pay to go in to see the animals. This is more worthwhile and enjoyable if the children actually take part in cuddling, grooming or feeding the animals. (You have to pay for feed and most seems to end up on the ground). There are several shops... More

The main restaurant is somewhere we often come to for afternoon tea. They have a good range of nice cakes and scones - sponges, tarts and shortbread. Their cakes are made from duck eggs which gives a really good flavour. My wife now always uses duck eggs for cooking cakes. Teas and coffees are good too. The hot food looks... More

A small complex of craft shops, farm animals and a few fairground rides for young children, it's a good place to take little ones for an afternoon (the mug / ornament painting is good) or an elderly relative for afternoon tea and a bit of shopping.

Great fun for young children, there are rides £1 each, swings and a slide for little ones and a farm area where the children can feed goats, sheep, pigs etc, and also hold small animals chicks, guinea pigs etc, also bottle feeding of lambs in season (entry to farm £5.75 each) though there are season tickets, family tickets available. Two... More

My Family and I originally visited Wroxham Barns during our Holiday last September. It was, for a variety of reasons, a less than memorable visit which led to me writing a scathing review on here, stating that it was a waste of an Afternoon and we wouldn't be returning in a hurry. We now live full time in the Locale,... More

As per usual the Foolhardy Circus at Wroxham Barns did not disappoint. I took 5 children ranging from 9 down to 15 months and all 5 were engaged throughout. Lots of skillful tricks held together with a funny story too. Well worth a visit. Daily shows at 12 and 2 during August.
