With its accent firmly on quality and with strong green credentials, it manages that really rather rare thing - of appealing to different ages. Grown-ups enjoy pottering around the shops and workshops, often chatting to the artists themselves or stopping to watch a craftsman create something unique. With a wood turner, stained glass specialist and Chris Hutchins from Norfolk Sketches, you will find the gift that is just that bit special. Fashion lovers should seek out the Gallery where labels such as Seasalt, Ness and Steilmann are on offer along sidehand bags, scarves, hats and more. And Sugar and Spice offers quirky children's pieces which are much more fun than items offered in the High Street. Foodie lovers are especially well catered for as the Pantry is packed with delicious food, much sourced locally so you can stock up your own store cupboards with jams, chutneys, oils, wines and more. « less

Whenever we have friends visiting from outside of Norfolk we always take them to Wroxham Barns because there is so much to see and do and something for all family members. We headed onto Junior Farm and the children loved seeing all the animals. We all had a go at the pumpkin trail which resulted in a spooky lucky dip... More

It wasn't our first trip to Wroxham Barns and we weren't let down. For shopping, the quality's high and there's variety, whether it's gifts, jewellery or ladies and children's clothing. Local artisans, a potter, stained glass artist, wood turner and picture framer all have premises there. Down in one corner there's a place for children (and adults) to decorate cups,... More

Because several shops closed. Sandwiches expensive and not that nice. Just felt the promotional material we had read promised lots and actually the shops were small and after 30 minutes we were ready to leave!

We had a lovely day out at Wroxham, weather started rainy but by the time we arrived it was warm and sunny, not bad for the 1st October. Had lunch at Greys fish restaurant, senior citizens special recommended, it was lovely as are the staff. After lunch a 90min boat trip on the Broads, very relaxing and good value. Finally... More

We are visiting Norfolk instead of a holiday abroad to better accommodate our child, but also because I have always meant to see more of the UK. It's fair to say our holiday got off to a rough start when Great Yarmouth was the first place we visited. So to make sure we had a nice day out I read... More

The farm here is lovely and sensibly priced at £5.75 per person (free for under 2's) with plenty of activities throughout the day. Our little man is 20 months old and enjoyed feeding a calf and holding a chick and a guinea pig. A small soft play also gave him a chance to burn off some steam. The shops are... More

Today, on this bright sunny day, I went to Wroxham Barns for a good look around and also for lunch. There is everything here at the Barns with a fashion shop for adults and children, all kinds of activities in fascinating units, a children's farm where the children can actually feed the animals, a large coffee shop and a wonderful... I've been visiting Norfolk and Wroxham Barns since I was a child, its been a few years since I've been and to be honest its not what it used to be. I understand attractions have to stick with the times but it now seems to be aimed at children. Why would the petting zoo be themed for children when adults... More

Had not visited in years and felt as it something was lacking. I realise places need to update but not sure if I will return in a hurry. Seems to be very children orientated which is fine in its way.

Been here before and found that on our return, the place was just as good. The disabled parking was good, as it was tarmac, where the rest of the car park is gravel. The shops are varied and interesting, with a good selection if items to buy. We always buy too much. As we were there at the start of... More
