With its accent firmly on quality and with strong green credentials, it manages that really rather rare thing - of appealing to different ages. Grown-ups enjoy pottering around the shops and workshops, often chatting to the artists themselves or stopping to watch a craftsman create something unique. With a wood turner, stained glass specialist and Chris Hutchins from Norfolk Sketches, you will find the gift that is just that bit special. Fashion lovers should seek out the Gallery where labels such as Seasalt, Ness and Steilmann are on offer along sidehand bags, scarves, hats and more. And Sugar and Spice offers quirky children's pieces which are much more fun than items offered in the High Street. Foodie lovers are especially well catered for as the Pantry is packed with delicious food, much sourced locally so you can stock up your own store cupboards with jams, chutneys, oils, wines and more. « less

a great place to go and well priced, in the heart of rural Norfolk. I love this place as does my wife who has a great affinity with animals. having read the other reviews here most are spot on. with the few having bad experiences seem to be those who are very tight with their money or just plain stupid.... I had been wanting to visit this place visit this place for sometime. Well I i get their yesterday and well i suppose it's ok if you have children but I thought £5.75 to go and visit the animals was a bit steep. I had lunch in the Resturant and wished I had eaten in Wroxham as the food wasn't... More

Oh dear, sadly we did not make a good impression on Chrismor. We would like to put a few things into context. Whilst Chrismor is fully entitled to express his opinion, we have welcomed many thousands of Senior (citizens) on coach parties over the past 31 years and the vast majority enjoy Wroxham Barns, many groups choosing to return each... We stopped off at the Pantry café for a quick lunch, and quite frankly, I had the worst BLT sandwich I've ever tasted. The bacon seemed to be raw - pink and wet, not crispy at all. My partner's cheese sandwich was equally bad - soggy and tastless. They were supposed to be made on the premises and were not... More

Firstly apologies to Gillyflower 12. Now to complete the picture on this review (occasionally reviewers will be somewhat “selective” in their account). Gillyflower did raise the issue with our Coffee Shop supervisor who served her. We DO make our sandwiches in our kitchens and we did explain this to her at the time. The bacon comes from local supplier Broadland... More

If you've got kids who'll enjoy meeting animals including holding a guinea pig, a chick and a rabbit, and feeding sheep then it's a great hour or so. However if that's not you then remember to eat elsewhere because it's not great food but still quite expensive.

Thank you Johntelfs for taking the time to share your thoughts on Wroxham Barns. As for Junior Farm, we can only agree with you. But you won’t be surprised that we don’t agree with your comments in respect of our food and drink. You are reading this because (we imagine) you are thinking of visiting us soon. We have two... Having read all about Wroxham Barns we thought it would be a good place to stop off on way home from a day on the Broads. But it was rather disappointing on arrival, full of elderly coach parties, it wasn't all open even though it was mid afternoon. I'm sure it would be better on a sunny day in high... More

Not sure what to say here as I am not sure we have done anything wrong. I certainly feel uncomfortable about unfair comments regarding our customers who arrive on coaches….all our customers are welcome however they arrive and whatever their circumstances. We are a welcoming and friendly business and believe that the vast majority of customers understand our principles. In... More

This is a well run complex. The restaurant is one of our favourites for afternoon tea, and the shop sells a good range of gifts. Well worth a visit.

I always visit Wroxham Barns when in Norfolk. There is a fantastic patchwork shop, which is my main reason for visiting, but there are other high quality craft shops and a good restaurant. Parking is easy and plentiful. It's quite a relaxing place to be and although I don't visit the children's areas, I have heard good reports.

We agree…Sew Creative is a brilliant haven for visitors interested in needlework and patchwork…and there are lots of them who come time and time again! And yes, children love Wroxham Barns as well. More

What a lovely place to discover! Lots of lovely little shops to browse (brought plently!!) Farmyard with soft play was fantastic for the price of £5.75 but we didn't go on play park outside as I refuse to pay again to go on a park! This should be free as it would encourage you to stay longer and buy coffees... More

Thanks Siobhan H Many thanks for your thoughtful comments, we are pleased that you enjoyed your visit. Thanks for acknowledging our staff, very much appreciative. We take note of your comments about the price of our fair rides. The key principle of our attraction is that you pay as you go, paying only for what you want. The Junior Farm... More

This is our second trip and we loved it, we arrived around 11 and stayed till 5 which with two small children to keep entertained is brilliant. Our boys are 4 and 15 months. The junior farm was fantastic, the staff had lots of knowledge and talked to out 4 year old, which he loved. We saw the pigs being... More

Visited here recently mainly for the craft shops we had been told about and we were not disappointed, If you are looking for something different you should find it here. Especially liked the jewellery and stained glass. A nice cluster of shops in quaint buildings

Nothing nicer than when the recommendations are realistic and accurate. We think that our collection of studios and specialist shops are pretty special and are grateful to you for sharing your thoughts with fellow travellers. More
