Owner description: Wroxham Barns is one of Norfolk's leading tourist attractions. With its accent firmly on quality and with strong green credentials, it manages that really rather rare thing - of appealing to different ages. Grown-ups enjoy pottering around the shops and workshops, often chatting to the artists themselves or stopping to watch a craftsman create something unique. With a wood turner, stained glass specialist and Chris Hutchins from Norfolk Sketches, you will find the gift that is just that bit special. Fashion lovers should seek out the Gallery where labels such as Seasalt, Ness and Steilmann are on offer along sidehand bags, scarves, hats and more. And Sugar and Spice offers quirky children's pieces which are much more fun than items offered in the High Street. Foodie lovers are especially well catered for as the Pantry is packed with delicious food, much sourced locally so you can stock up your own store cupboards with jams, chutneys, oils, wines and more.

Let me start by saying that this review reflects my possibly biased opinion only and that I do not regularly, by choice, visit places such as this. Having been dragged to Wroxham Barns by an enthusiastic relative over the festive season, however, I shall definitely not be increasing my regularity of visits to similar 'attractions'. I found the whole procedure... More

Oh dear, not our best review. Just to be clear, mrjelly did not visit Junior Farm, did not enter the restaurant or coffee shop…which only leaves the shops and studios. He does not like “places such as this” anyway. We are naturally sorry that he did not enjoy Wroxham Barns, and take note of his comment about “bored people”. Where... More

I recently visited Wroxham Barns with my husband, son and grandson (almost 2yrs) it was lovely and Christmassy with songs playing and areas decorated including the animal stalls. There is lots to do and the soft play was a great hit for my grandson - he lives in Norwich so is a seasoned user and could lead me around the... More

I visited Wroxham Barns with my mother (this option not available in the above choices so have said we are friends!). It was a cold Tuesday. We were going to have a coffee in the coffee shop and a mooch around the shops. Firstly the coffee shop was closed, so we decided to look around with a view to finding... More

Many thanks Betinabahumba for sharing such an honest and interesting review. Your points about the workshops and studios is noted. We try hard to ensure that a good selection of the studios and workshops are open each day but they are independent and mostly sole trader enterprises. Out of season we would expect one or two to be closed on... More

Wroxham Barns is a lovely place to visit. There are shops where you can purchase gorgeous Christmas decorations and hand made pottery and such. The restaurant serves delicious food and when we have been the service has been good. Well worth a visit. We visited in Dec 2013 and Dec 2012 and will be returning Dec 2014!!

Our visitors often say how lovely Wroxham Barns is at Christmas…a traditional atmosphere, a brilliant Santa at weekends (only one, not a Santa factory!), lovely food and so many unique gifts.
