Its very striking but access is closed. As you travel the site, places like the Monastery, Petra church Mosaics and the Royal Tombs are equally impressive

You won't believe it when you'll see it. An entire building structure craved out of a mountain with such intricate details and that too about 2500 years ago! A must see. Hordes of tourist groups after crossing the passage leading to the Treasury and seeing the dramatic view of the Treasury from the Siq were Awe struck and collectively uttered... More

The reveal of the Treasury is really insane - you walk through the long and winding Siq, expressing wonderment at the high walls and the sharp turns, and you suddenly see the treasury gates emerge out of nowhere. Important photo-op tip: stay back and try to capture the gate of the treasury through the walls of the Siq. Also, if... More

As you wander through the Siq, suddenly you get a glimpse of the Treasury framed by the sheer rock walls. Unfortunately, you exit the Siq into a crowd of vendors, so be sure to enjoy the quiet and amazement of that first glimpse.

I have waited over 50 years to see this awe inspiring sight and nothing could have prepared me for how overwhelming it would be to actually be there. Quite magnificent.

Not much more one can say. The whole experience was worth the cost of the tickets. The walk to the location has been well designed and a long but easy walk.

The Treasury was the best part of Petra, in my opinion. There is something very magical about emerging from the sig and seeing the beautiful carved face of the Treasury in all it's detailed beauty. Many people stop to take pictures and quickly move on. You should take the time to sit on the benches provided to really get a... More

As you enter from the main ticket gate/entry, you start to click photos and be amazed of the UNESCO heritage carving on stone/mountain. After several minutes of walk, at the end of the Siq, as one gets a wider view of the road, the Treasury starts to unfold. Many historically reliable documents/references can be found on the net hence i... More

Wonderful and beautifully carved. It's amazing to see what people could do at the time. You can't miss it (for real, it's literally on the way, you can't miss it)
