The glowing light of hundreds of candles at night is a very special sight. The glow on the ancient walls is magical. Hopefully they've corrected that problem but would strongly advise checking before... More

Amazing heritage site. It really makes you think. It is impossible to approach the Treasury without humming the music from Indiana Jones. If you are near Jordon, you must is it this site.

The treasury is only the beginning of an amazing site full of surprise and wonderful sculpture done by the Nabateans. Strongly recommended.

This is a seriously impressive site to stumble across first up, but take the time to see the monastery as well, it's worth the effort of getting there

Wow, exquisitely craved into the mountain and rock formation. Looks so natural that it was meant to be ....... Man and Nature in mutual harmony. Beautiful landscape.

If you enter by the Siq, you will discover the treasury, by the realms of the canyon... if you get lucky to be there in times of no "rush hour" it will be amazing.

Early morning or in the evening, the lights is better... I recommend to take a long walk to reach the spot where you can see it from the top of the cliff... However, the place is always packed of tourists, camels, donkeys, horsecarts...

After negotiating and getting on a horse back with a guide, going through a long narrow passage way for a while, there was this magnificent structure at the end that looked familiar. Once I walked in the structure I knew I had seen this place in Indiana Jones movie. Our guide told us it looks different depending on where the... More

This was the main reason of my visit. All I ever saw of it were pictures or video's. The real thing is much bigger and mor beautiful than I thought

The initial view you get from the gorge is tantalising ... awe inspiring is the only description for the sight that greets you when you emerge from the gorge and see it for the first time. It's busy outside the front as this is where a lot of the donkeys, camels etc can be hired. The light on the treasury... More
