Wanted to change Austria because of the distance and said we should try Bansko. Went in a large group of 12. Some of us took ski lessons with Skimania and were happy they learned a lot. Unfortunately the ski pass was mandatory for them even if they used it just twice in 2 days. So a big waste of money.... More

True it is not France, Switzerland or Austria. But this is a place with good restaurants, great atmosphere, very nice people, everything is open even late at night. The ski slops are good but do not be sufficient the person that want long routes and very challenging slops. The problem is the long waiting for the gondola in the morning... More

Had a great week in Bansko even if we didn't get any fresh snow. The morning Gondola was pretty busy so getting there early always helped and once everyone was dispersed on the mountain it didn't seem so busy unless you were a beginner. Definitely more red and black runs to enjoy and if you like the long ride home..... More

We were a group of 13 of all skiing abilities. Some had never skied up to experienced skiers, and all in between. Once up the mountain, there was skiing for all levels. Yes I'm sure if you are a really experienced skier you could ski the whole mountain in a day or two. Having said that our experienced skiers enjoyed... More

Bansko is a brilliant place to go skiing or snowboarding, friends that come with me are pleasantly surprised as to how good the piste is, rules and regulations are slack which makes it so much more fun, off piste if you want to and no one to say don't! Nightlife is good and very cheap with no shortage orlf restaurants,... More

I am a beginner when it comes to skiing, so this resort is perfect. The slopes were challenging enough for me (especially when i moved on to reds), but there were easier ones which you could stay on all week. The price of the holiday was incredibly little. Only downside is transfer time from airport

Ideally Bansko would expand its number of pistes drastically to allow for this resort to be more than just a beginners resort. That being said, lots of the runs are fairly challenging, with steep gradients to challenge even the best skiers. The off piste is fantastic. We had a wild day exploring untapped paths and open powder fields. The gondola... More

Bansko is a great family destination for ski. We loved the variety of the mountain and the slopes which catered for both experience and inexperienced skiers. The snow cover was fantastic when we were there in January and the lifts really well organised. Thank you for a great, easy ski holiday!

So in short the mountain, snow and ski school were really great. Yvon the ski instructor was awesome with the kids aged 8-15 and in 4 days they were all smiling and relatively independent on skis so great. The problem here is really the skiers etiquette that I can't explain. I've been skiing for over 30 years and have only... More

Bansko skiing experience is great! This resort has a very unique charm. It is full of adventure and boasts an ultra wide range of entertainment at night! Not to forget the relatively cheap traditional food! I have been here twice, and probably I will return. What I can suggest you guys is to always avoid ULEN!!!!!! They have around 200... More
