I have visited many resorts în Austria, but Bansko is nowhere near them...aside from the price they charge for the skipass. The lifts are outdated, none has cover against wind... The slopes are unprepared, the food in the restaurants on the mountain is terrible, and the service level is very low. Ripoff...

Bansko is a great site for weekend and beginners. Good night life too. Everything is so cheap. Recommended.

I put my daughter into a ski kindergarten at the top of the gondola lift. It was very busy, pretty basic. However, I could live with all that. Bansko is one of the best choices for someone who loves ski! There are great slopes with great snow conditions! The lift card is a little bit expensive but the level of the lifts is high!!!

The skiing, snowboarding and other outdoor activities in Basko, Bulgaria are great. You can choose from easy and beginner ski paths to deadly dangerous places on 2700m high mountain top… You get good service for the prices, the lifts are all automated and having electronic chip ski-passes everything is easier… Just enjoy and be aware of the nature’s forces. Been here last year...everything ok! This year seems like everybody is so "hungry"...they don't know how to take your money fast ...easy ...and doing nothing for it! At the slope...the most amazing thing...my boy had his ski pass taken by the guys from the lift because wasn't him the one who bought it!!!!...i told them..."that's why people will come here... I'll start with positive :) many lines to choose from , steep slopes , beautiful scenery, cheap food, drinks.. my negative points of this ski resort is nothing to do with Pirin mountain .. its more about dodgy local people.. bad customer service.. maybe its just me ;) My overall rating is very good and I hope Bansko will improve... I liked this place a lot. There are olenty of ski slopes, all well maintained and with snow machines pumping fresh snow frequently. The gondola that takes you up the hill is very good although you should expect some long lines at the bottom of the ski resort. Once you get there you will find ski slopes for all likings... More
