We stayed at Cowhide Cove on Lake Greeson. It is a campground run by the Army Corps of Engineers. The lake is gorgeous. It has a wonderful swimming beach with sand so you aren't walking in slime under the water. The mens' showers were great, but the womens' showers needed new shower heads. They have places for RV's as well... more
This is the real diamond in the rough in Murfreesboro. Uncrowded, pristine waters surrounded by the pine-covered Ouachita Mts. Although a little hard to get to, its well worth the trip. Great trout fishing in the Little Missouri River below the dam along with wonderful swimming in the lake make for a memorable experience. more
