Mountain View is known for their love of Folk Music; the Jimmy Driftwood Barn did not disappoint. Jimmy Driftwood Barn is a "must" while in Mountain Home. The local musicians are great great. The town and people are very passionate about their music and are passing this passion on to the next generation. The night we visited we were privileged... More

My family and I stopped at The Barn to enjoy the singing and playing Friday nite 8/8/14. Like grandkids do (ages18 months to 5 years) they got tired and were not able to keep quiet, so my daughers were taking them back to the hotel to put them to bed. We were followed out by the Emcee and treated very... More

These people of Mountain View are passionate about their music and so ever enjoy sharing what they do. The young children are encouraged from VERY young to become involved, through school and after programs. amazing! Quite a variety of music is offered at Jimmy Driftwood barn. Casual, fun place to go for an hour or stay longer. Foot tapping, hum... More

I enjoyed my visit to Jimmy Driftwood Barn. The music and the people playing it were authentic. Since it's a place open to anyone who wants to sing and there is no fee charged, those singing really put a lot of themselves on the songs, they were there to share music and communicate feelings, not to make a profit. Highly... More

Good music, friendly people that are very talented and you will not be sorry for going. There will be folk music, country music and a lot of gospel. One may even hear a 'twang' of Blue Grass every once in a while. I highly recommend this show to everyone. Young, old and there are usually young people on stage performing... More

If you want to see a lot of local talent perform, don't miss this one. Lots of performers, lots of variety...and it is FREE!! They do pass around a basket for donations.

If you remember the Battle of New Orleans tune by Jimmy Driftwood then now you know who Jimmy was. They put on a good show with local people and if you play or sing then get there early and get on the schedule and you too can perform on stage.. It's just a good time and the cost is a... More

This is a fun place to visit. The music is all acoustical; the performeers mostly local; the price is whatever you want to donate. They pass the hat at the halfway point. Very good music. Open on Fridays and Sundays. Highly recommend.
