The up keep on this place was so sad... half of the sites were closed and they had not even been cut around. There was a tree laying across the waterfall that comes out of the caverns, so when people tried to take pictures it had this big dead tree that had been cut up and not removed.. Was so... More

After our cavern tour we picnicked @ one of the available tables. Following this we strolled through the nature trail. The springs & views provided gorgeous photo ops for our family. Following the walk, we enjoyed fishing on mirror lake. Took home 11 rainbow trout between our two families & enjoyed fresh fish for dinner. The locals were helpful in... More

My daughter & I took a nice summer swim here yesterday. The water was so clear & pretty. But even on the 4th of July in Arkansas the water was cold. You quickly get use to it. Simply a beautiful place.

This is a very beautiful area, with a nice clear stream and plenty of camping and hiking. Blanchard Springs Caverns are located here even though we were not able to tour them on my last visit. Sylamore Creek is so clean and so natural. A great swimming hole when the weather is warm enough. The dogwood and redbud trees were... More

Everything was well maintained and lovely. We did not visit the caverns, but spent several pleasant hours hiking around the springs area. It would be a great location for a family reunion with lots to do at the park and in the surrounding areas. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Spring is beautiful, and trail area made for pleasant strolls. Well maintained. Nice camping grounds and streams. Quiet without a lot of traffic and visitors when we went. Will definitely return with a picnic lunch next time.

Susan and I chose to drive the scenic byway from Blanchard Springs to Fifty-six and through the mountains after we had visited the cave. There was still snow on the ground here and there from the previous week's storm, and no foliage on the hardwood trees. But even with the disadvantage of being in winter, it was still a very... More

No electric hookups but bathrooms have hot showers and a plug in for hair dryer. What this place has is raw beauty. Crystal clear water, I mean crystal clear! Water fall, trout lake, cliffs, wild life, trails, caves. Most beautiful camp site with great swimming hole, hiking, caving, fishing I love it.

After we went to the caverns we decided to drive around and found a few scenic places to take pictures. Good place to take pics, there is an abandoned mill down the river which was cool to see. There was also a natural spring which was I thought was cool. Definitely take the time to take your shoes off and... More
