We have been in some caves but nothing as jaw dropping as this place. Well maintained area, HUGE cavern, tastefully lighted and Paul, our guide, was a wealth of information. Plus he was a talker :) Super nice guy and made the cave even more fascinating! Thanks Paul!!

We made reservations for the three of us a couple of days in advance. Good thing we did, because the 12:30PM tour we took the day after Thanksgiving was sold out. Since the number of visitors on each tour is limited, we had an easy time hearing and interacting with our guide. Dalton, our guide, was a nice young man... More

Blanchard Springs Caverns is a great place to go if you are a novice explorer or if you have kids. They have an alternate trail you can take to opt out of the long version if you don't feel like you want to take the entire course. Nice little theater place inside the cave where guides give you background. Easy... More

This is an awesome cavern for anyone to go to. You descend in an elevator and come back up in one too. There is a walking path that's well paved( Dripstone Trail). You still need to wear non-slip shoes or sneakers but young and old can see the natural wonders of these caverns. The tours are led by National Park Service... More

We spent the day exploring the Caverns to get away from some nasty rain that was blowing through Arkansas and the Ozarks. What a perfect way to learn some new info on the underground world and see some amazing sights. The guided tour was super informative and we had a ton of fun. The museum offers a host of info... These caverns have been in public ownership since their discovery and are in amazing condition. We found them more impressive than Carlsbad or Luray Caverns. One "room" on the Dripstone Trail is the size of 3 football fields! The number of visitors allowed in the caverns is limited so during peak season if your time is limited, reservations would be... Been through the area before and enjoyed the local attractions but this was the first time to visit these caverns. The views were spectacular, enhanced by indirect lighting which emphasized the particular characteristics of individual areas. Our guide was knowledgeable and informative. Worth the trip!

My husband and I came to Mountain View specifically to go to Blanchard Springs Cavern. Web site and even a sign on the door said open 7 days a wk from 9:30 til 5. We got there a little after 10, as did several other cars of people and they were not open. When we tried to call we got... More

Absolutely stunning, hour long walk through. Accessible to wc and stroller for upper cavern..a cool 58 deg. year round. Nice walkways that are slip resistant, but wear slip proof shoes also! Has sturdy handrails throughout.
