My husband and I bought our college student Grandauther from Texas . She was totally impressed with the caverns and the informative guide. She had worked in two caverns in Texas since she was 16 and was amazed with this tour . She plans on a return visit to do the guided underground all day trip sometime next summer. A... More

Guide really knows his caverns and interacts well with the group. Wear comfortable walking shoes we did the 1.2 mile hike with plenty of ups and downs

Took the hour and half tour. Cave system is beautiful. The cave formations unbelievable. Our guides, Joe and Charlie, were the best. They were very informative and answered any and all questions. It was obvious both guides loved there job and was passionate about caves. The tour keeps everyone on walkways and folks are discouraged from touching anything not man... More

Wow, these were really beautiful caverns! very worth the one hour drive from where we were staying. There are 3 different tours to choose from depending on how adventurous you are. We took the basic one hour tour. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of this cave, and also took time to answer questions. The stalactites and stalagmites... More

We took the Dripstone tour and it was incredible. The cavern is huge with beautiful rock formations and tiny bats flittering about. Our guide was great, she was very knowledgeable and humorous. You should plan on seeing the caverns as soon as you can, we were informed that the White Nose Syndrome that has been devastating bat populations elsewhere has... More

If you're in the area...Blanchard Springs Caverns is a must! We always enjoy visiting caverns and caves. This is by far the prettiest that we've seen. Our guide, Johnny, was full of information. We had quite a large group, but he took a lot of time and explained not only the history of the cavern but explained all of the... More

I reviewed this cave about fifteen years ago and what I said about the cave then holds true today. Blanchard Springs Caverns is run by the National Forest Service and was commercially developed in the late 1960's and early 1970's. It set the standard for modern commercial cave development. The cave has vast rooms and passages and some of the... More
