Took the Wild Cave Tour in late Sept. '09 and had a blast. Really different than being on the paved trails. The parts of the cave on the "wild" part were less decorated than the paved tours, but there were a couple of rooms with nice formations. For me, the main experience was being underground in large rooms, hallways, and... more

We live in NW Arkansas in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. There are several caves in this area, and I've always enjoyed visiting caves. Several people around here told me that Blanchard Springs Caverns were the best. So we went in April, 2009. There was plenty of free parking and we were warmly greeted at the welcome center. The price was... more

Located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains outside of Mountain View, AR, these caverns are well worth the trip. Some of the largest cave "rooms" you'll ever find in the US - maybe the largest. Well appointed for easy walking, handrails the entire way, with non-stick concrete floor. Guide was knowledgeable, and the cost was reasonable. For the adventurous, they have a very... more

The Blanchard Springs Caverns are located in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest, about a 15 minute drive north of Mountain View, Arkansas. From the visit center, rangers lead three different tours through the caverns: The Dripstone Trail winds through the upper level; the Discovery Trail is in the middle level, and is longer and more strenuous; and the Wild Cave... more

Took my grandchildren on the two tours of the caverns. Had a great time. Enjoyed the whole experience! This is my 5th or 6th time to visit the caverns and I will be back. Great place to take the grandkids! more

The cavern is maintained by the US Forest Service and the foresters serve as your tour guide. They have more information in their head than they can tell you in the allotted time. The Discovery Tour is the history of the cave exploration, the routes they took, what they found, and entertaining anecdotes. Wear super comfy shoes for stair climbing.... more

This cave is so beautiful! I love visiting caves and this one is one of my favorites! We went here with my parents and my father uses a powered scooter style chair and he was able to see the whole tour, which I think is just fabulous! There were a couple of slick spots that my husband had to help... more

If you are going to visit just one cave (even though this is called a cavern whice is a better description) then this is the one to see. We took the shorter of the trail tours whice suited us just fine. We also went to the spring, where the water runs out of the cavern, wonderful photo opt it's another... more

This was a really nice caveran! The price is a little steep, but the cave is beautiful. The trip to the caveran is a beautiful drive as well! Make sure once you are done touring the cave you take the short drive to Blanchard Springs. more

Our family visited during 100 degree weather and the caves were such a relief from the heat. Take a sweater if you're cold natured otherwise summer clothes will do. It is well lit and absolutely beautiful!! We may buy the season pass and use this as a quick get away now and then because as an added bonus your ticket... more
