I love this dam - I think it's really neat that they make hydropower here. Cleanest energy there is! Most efficient, no emissions. (I've also heard that the energy is sold only to non-profit companies, and that's pretty cool too)

The views were beautiful and the visitor's center is very informative. You get the whole story on the building of the dam.

If you're into huge industrial man made miracles, you've found the place. The drive is along beautiful Ozark mountain roads. The history is worth investigating.

If you want to get away from the crowds in the city this is the place to vacation I have lived here for 20 years and still think it is a very friendly area and the beautiful lake is a place to stay and play.

the lake is the clearest around the dam is most beautiful when opened but the fishing is always terrific in this part of the White river.

The scenery is always beautiful, no matter what time of year! The visitor center is an amazing place. Very cool gift shop, the history of the area on the short movie is very interesting, the displays are great!

Just a nice peaceful place. Quite a drive from the campsite, but worth it.
