This is a wonderful State Park to visit and hike. Our favorite hike was the Cedar Falls Trail. To find the trail head, once inside the park, follow the signs to Mather Lodge. Walk through the middle of the lodge to outside. This will open up to a breath-taking view. Trail head is off to the left. You'll get a... More

We recently visited family in the Little Rock area and spent one of the days at Petit Jean State Park. What a gem....and not far from the city. Lots of camping areas, picnic areas and over 20 miles of trails to hike. We hiked the falls trail located by the main lodge and it was beautiful. Don't miss out on... More

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We are always happy to hear from our visitors. Along with all of the beautiful trails Petit Jean has to offer, we also have a marina that offers fishing and boat rentals! The marina is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. We hope you will be back to visit us... More

We spent a week at Lake Ouchita State Park. Drove about an hour and half to see this park also. Glad we did. Great trails and the waterfall is amazing.

We camped here, originally booked for 2 nights, but had to extend for 3 because there was so much to see and do. Would have stayed a week, if we could have (and we seldom stay anywhere that long). This beautiful mountain top park has all you could ask for in terms of enjoying nature: quiet (in April, I am... More

Wonderful scenery, waterfall, creeks, caves, and great trails. This is a must visit park. Breathtaking views and great very well maintained and clean. The hiking trails were well worth it. We will definitely be back!

Well marked hiking trails with lots of great scenery. The drawback is the number of people that visit the park - hard to "get away" when there are so many people.

Way more than we expected! The camping was great, and the lodge food delicious and very reasonably priced. Just do it.

History, views from above the Arkansas River, waterfall, short and 4 mile hikes, Mather Lodge (absolutely charmingly rustic, very reasonably priced, and in great shape with great food served and great staff all over the place). We're from Pennsylvania, a state of much streaming waters and woods, but this place still was able to really impress us. We will definitely... More

If you love hiking and natural beauty, this is the place for you. There are many different trails of varying length and difficulty, from the relatively easy Bear Cave and Rock House Cave trails, to the strenuous Cedar Falls trail. I highly recommend the latter. Be sure to take plenty of water, wear good shoes, and a walking stick comes... More

We were looking for a day trip from Conway, AR to hike for a few hours and explore. Petit Jean park is a great trip. Check in at the lodge with park rangers for maps and suggestions. We hiked the seven burrows trail - about 5 miles and took us 2.5 hours. A good workout and very pretty trail. Stop... More
