The park is very clean with beautiful views and scenery all over. We spent the night in one of the cabins at the lodge and it was very clean and comfortable. The cabins are small, but are reasonably priced especially compared to cabins in other areas. Plenty of trails for those who enjoy hiking. Also a lot of great places... More

Petit Jean state park is a wonderful park for doing various outdoor activities. The view from the scenic outlook spot is breathtaking. It is worth a visit by itself. The Cedar fall are not a majestic waterfall, but the hiking through the Cedar Falls trail to approach the bottom of the waterfall is definitely a must-do if you love hiking.... More

Petit Jean State Park is beautiful, huge, and relaxing. There are so many hiking trails, and waterfalls in it, that we could not finish in 2 days. The hiking trains are quite easy. You can actually have kids with you while hiking. Waterfalls are beautiful, and the view from top is amazing. The cabin looked very small, so we opted... More

Great Park overlooking the Arkansas River with lots of trails and beautiful views. Lodge common area and dining room are very nice with friendly and efficient staff. Rustic lodge rooms have been partially remodeled, but are quite small and the "in-room" furniture is a bit sparse.

We had an absolute blast here! I traveled with family including a 9 year old, and all of us are in pretty good shape - which helped. The scenery is really beautiful, I've hiked all over the country and thought this was a really cool place. We did the requisite hike to Cedar Falls - which is a must do... More

I've lived in Arkansas almost my entire life and have always heard of Petit Jean State Park but had never been. My wife and I decided to take our 9 year old for the day and we had a blast. This certainly won't be our last time. We walked the Cedar Falls trail because we wanted to see the waterfall.... More

I have just returned from a couple of days staying at the Lodge at Petit Jean State Park. I have visited there several times over the last 6 years and never realized just how much there is to see, our favorite was the falls which at ground level are wonderful but the view from around 400 feet up at the... Thank you for providing feedback on your visit to Petit Jean State Park. We are glad you enjoyed your visit to the park; we are disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay at Mather Lodge. The recent renovation replaced this Arkansas lodge's 1960s-era dining room with a more rustic-style design, expanded the kitchen, added a 50-person room for meetings... More

Hiking awesome, cedar falls is a must see. Pool is nice with 3 lifeguards, slide, and diving board. Bring cash to swim even if camping. Flies are bad at camp site bring fly traps. Camping bathroom does not have soap to wash hands. If you are tenting there is no wash room to wash dishes or wash clothes. Kayaking and... More
