We have visited several times both tent and RV camping. The sites are spacious and clean. The park is very well run and offers several presentations from Park Rangers that are great for the family. The view is beautiful and there are a lot of hiking trails. We make it a regular visit.

Stayed here with my family in one of their cabins and it was very nice. We enjoyed the Cedar Falls Hike and had breakfast and dinner in the Mather Lodge. The park is very peaceful and has some nice trails and breathtaking views. We would definitely return.

This is a great state park. We hiked the 7 Hollows Trail and it was fantastic! Lots of cool rock formations, beautiful views and a really nice grotto to finish. If you get to the natural bridge, go around the back of the formation and up and there are these really interesting rock formations that look like massive turtle shells.... More

Love Mt. Petit Jean state park a very beautiful place with Lodge, campgrounds and beautiful views, Lodge has a restaurant inside, but we didn't eat there this time, but will be eating there next time we are that way food looked and smelled wonderful and was reasonable priced.

Spent the day at Petit Jean State Park November 16th, 2014. I drove up with a friend and her dogs. It was a quick weekend spent exploring the scenic sites of Arkansas. The weather was perfect! Petit Jean State Park was absolutely beautiful!! The lodge is beautiful and the cabins look very cozy. My friend and I hiked a trail... More

Rented a cabin (one of the original CCC) for 2 nights with girlfriends. We were very happy with the cabin: 1 bedroom with 2 double beds, plus plenty of room in the living area for sleeping bags or to sleep on the long couch. Fireplace comes with wood, but it was unseasonably warm and we couldn't bear a fire. We... More

We spent two days at Petit Jean this past weekend (early November). I won't say there is a perfect time to come, but fall is a great one. All the trees changing color are so beautiful up there. However, all the water in the park was down, and Cedar Falls was just at a trickle, so spring would be very... More

We were driving up Scenic Highway 7 viewing the wonderful fall foliage. Took a 15 mile side trip to Petit Jean State Park on a recommendation. It was well worth our time. Stopped at the visitor center and got some very useful guidance. Really enjoyed the Rock House Cave Trail and the Cedar Falls Overlook. Just wish that we had... More

Up on the mountain is the Mather Lodge. All around it were beautiful tress changing into their fall colors....breathtaking! Several sightseeing stops marked along the way. I suggest you stop and stretch your legs. All, except the Auto Museum are free and interesting.
