Chiloe is an experience in itself, amazing. There are many churches on the island but this really is a stunning masterpiece. Set in the centre of Castro on the central square it has a most unprepossessing exterior. However, step inside the doors and you really do have to stand and admire the interior. Very old all wooden church. This was in interesting stop on our one day tour of Chiloe. We started in Puerto Monte and took the ferry over with our car.
