How does one begin to describe the sort of day that is beyond words? My girlfriends and I were looking for an excursion while in the Dominican Republic that would satisfy everyone's idea of the perfect outing while on vacation - well, we found that and more at Rancho Lobo Gris. Simona drove all the way to our resort (Lifestyles... More

My family and me went to Rancho Lobo Gris in march 2013. We met the owner Daniel and his partner Christine which are two very nice, friendly, welcoming people. The tour begins when they pick you up and a meeting point, in our case was our restaurant, and take you on this adventure to get to Rancho Lobo Gris, which... More

We visited Rancho Lobo Gris in February and had the best day of the entire trip. They are well organized, knowledgable, a so much fun! We were 2 grandparents, daughter and grand daughter. We would recommend this to ppl of any age and experience. AND would definitely do it again and again! But, please when you book...take the whole day... More

i visited the Lobo Gris ranch with my family and we experienced a fantastic fun day . the first 40 mins getting there is an adventure as you see alot of scenery and villages that you would not see normally as you climb inland towards the mountains and to the ranch, which has the wow factor. The owner Daniel who... More

We were given a tip about Rancho Lobo Gris by the owner of Sinatra's so we decided to check it out. It was so worth it. Simona picked us up at our hotel and brought us out to the ranch which is about 40 minutes or so from Sosua. Daniel and Christina's approach to riding lessons is very unique and... More

I've been thinking what to write about my time at the Ranch... ...it's appeal satisfies all the senses that we know of - and lingers inside the soul to caress the ones we don't (yet). There is no greater feeling, I believe, than connection...to our surroundings, other people, other creatures...this Ranch and those who are a part of the Ranch... More

I was informed about the Rancho Lobo Gris whilst I was having dinner at Steve's restaurant in Sosua. I was in conversation with Steve about places to go and things to do that most tourist don't enjoy when they are visiting the islands and of course it had to be off the beaten track. Steve informed me about the ranch... More

I came across Rancho Lobo Gris, Daniel, Kristine, Simona, and the rest of the Amazing staff by chance. I was on vacation in DR and inquired with my hotel manager in regard to learn to ride horses. He informed me he knew of just the person. The next day I was enjoying lunch, Daniel, Kristine and Simona happened to be... More

A beautiful place and wonderful people. We spent Christmas at the Cabana with our two daughters - one who rides and one who doesn't. Both were looked after in a way which reflected their personal likes! Tanya and her sunbathing - and Hattie was given the opportunity to indulge her love of gallops! We are "regulars" at the Ranch, but... More

At Rancho Lobo Gris, just about an hour inland from Sosua, the health and wellbeing of the horses is the first concern, which is a very good thing and is not the case at all the ranchos. What's more: they also take in neglected or abused horses and take care of them. Simona, the German manager, has been there for... More
