Cannoyning with Helmut was one of, if not the most exciting adventures I have had in the Dominican thus far. It was a very exciting day filled with swimming, repelling off of waterfalls, and jumping from cliffs. I loved every second of it, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Afterwards, we had a home-cooked Dominican meal, the best... More

My friend and I went Canyoning with our two guides, Helmut and Alberto. This was something I never saw myself being able to do, but I did! It was the perfect balance of mental and physical demand. The scenery was beautiful and I felt that both guides were conscious and sensitive to each person's skill level. Helmut did an excellent... More

you should book this day trip if you want to take in the country side, see some cows and donkeys along the river... get some exercise paddling, yet relax as you go down one river that meets up with the other... cool rapids make the ride exciting, but they aren't too challenging. the guides were very friendly, knew the river,... This was an amazing tour! Although we passed through a few rapids, the kayaking was real easy. One person on our tour had never been kayaking and was able to enjoy it and keep up with us all. However, I am certain, should you wish for more of a challenge Yoann, the guide and owner, would be able to accomodate... More

I have done the kayaking trip twice, and it was amazing and unique both times. It is the perfect blend of exercise, relaxation, and fun while appreciating the beautiful countryside of the Dominican Republic. The guides are very well prepared and ready to help you. I had almost no rowing experience, and I had no problem at all. A traditional... More

We had a great Kayak tour. Good organization, nice people, good atmosphere and lots of fun. It is absolutely safe and varied simultaneously. The scenery is beautiful and the water crystal clear. I can recommend the tour to anyone... don't miss it! More

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our very first kayaking adventure with Yoann and his two assistants. It was a private trip arranged on an almost spontaneous, last minute basis through friends of Yoann's at the Cabarete Language Institute, Rodrigo & Michelle. It turned out to be one of the best highlights of our trip to Cabarete, Dominican Republic. The... More

What a find! A guided trip down a gorgeous river with small but exciting rapids, pristine scenery, and amazing views. At one point we stopped on a sandy riverbank, our guide climbed a huge tree and put up a rope swing. Crazy fun jumping into the river from there. It ended with a tasty Dominican lunch on a small farm... More

This is by far my favorite day trip out of Cabarete! It was such a wonderful way to see the beautiful Dominican countryside. The kayaking is just the right level of difficulty...a challenge but not extreme. My friends and I loved the "tarzan rope", too!! When we came out of the water, there was a yummy Dominican lunch waiting for... More
