This beautiful Cabarete beach is just a 12 minute drive from Sosua. The endless beach is just wonderful: white sand, palm trees, lots of great restaurants and bars to choose from. Get a sun tan right here and relax. Some beach chairs are even free if you have some drinks from the connecting bar. My family and I love it... More

Had a fun time at the beach during my two-day stay in Cabarete. It’s windy most of the time, but that’s what draws tourists in for the kiteboarding and windsurfing. Not too many locals approaching you to sell things, which was nice, and there are a ton of restaurants and bars right on the beach.

Beach was great with the restaurants all around, but is bit windy. Great area for wind surfing though.

We enjoyed the beaches. There was some garbage in the water, but they tried to keep the beaches clean. You won't find the white sand and turquoise waters here. But it was nice and warm. A plus, if you like wind sports, this is the place for you. Seems always to bee a nice breeze.

This is a kite surfer's paradise for a reason- it's windy and the water is a bit choppy. If you're like me and just like to lounge by the water, it's not ideal...but It's still pretty damned good. Lots of restaurants, hotels and some shopping on the beach.

If you're looking for nightlife, Cabarete offers one of the best options in the whole country. The beach is one of the best in the world for windsurfing. Not so great as a bathe and suntan beach...the wind will probably get to you after a while...

If you're into wind sports, this beach and this entire stretch of the north coast will do nicely. I found a nice consistent afternoon wind keeps the waves big enough to be playful but not too big (unless a storm is blowing in) so they're great for beginners of all sorts: surfing, boogie-boarding, etc. The bay is quite long, the...
