The name of this road is 7C and is crossing the Carpathinas Mountains from Curtea de Arges to near Sibiu. It's a wonderful road with a breathtaking view. as a passenger you better sit in the front seat so you don't get dizzy! the drive is wonderful for the eye and a great challenge as a driver, need to be really careful. max speed is 40km and they really mean it, take it easy! More

Important to start early in the day to give plenty of time. Like other attractions in Romania, not well signposted. It is one of the highest paved roads in Europe, the road climbs to 2,042 metres altitude.The landscapes are lovely, I saw something similar only in the Swiss Alps.The road connects the 2 historic regions of ROMANIA,Transylvania and Wallachia through a highest part from Southern Carpathians, named Făgăraș Mountains.
