Visited here with my whole family. We rode on the ferry and had a nice view of the lake. There's many restaurants around this area which serves fresh and tasty seafood.

We made reservations based on trip advisor to stay at the Lake Inn Hotel near Songkhla Lake.....but the place was downtrodden...we drive 1.9 km more to the BP Samila Beach Hotel and got a beautiful oceanfront room for 1750 baht per night....inexpensive, clean, great food and beautiful.

There is an incredible reclining golden Buddha once you cross over the Span. Make a left turn and follow the narrow road past the temple signs. You'll find fantastic restaurants on the shores Songkhla lake as you proceed about 500 meters. Stop and eat....fresh,fresh, fresh catches and a real Songkhla experience.

Nice looking at the boats there although it is nothing particularly spectacular. Nice atmosphere, just of the Chinese quarters of the city

Nice surrounding for a walk. Go there if you book a day package but remember to bargain for the lowest price.

I followed the GPS and Map provided by Tripadvisor and was stranded. I was stuck at a village-like residential area. So disappointed with the site
