Unusually I failed to check TA before attempting to visit only to find that despite a freshly painted green fence replete with concrete giraffes sticking out onto the footpath, the Wildlife Centre is temporarily closed for renovation until possibly mid April 2016. There is no sign outside stating this - very poor. Tricycles were difficult to source going to Daraga... More

The Albay Park and Wildlife is temporarily closed for renovation. Currently, new buildings and the areas for wildlife rehabilitation and care are being improved. The place showcases animals in captivity. The park provides shelter to stray animals. Proper care and treatment are given before being released again in the wild. The provincial veterinary services unit of Albay manages the park.

Aside from caged animals as the main attraction. This place is also a great place to relax and hang out with your family and kids. There is rowing of boat, biking and zip line for those who are seeking adventure.

visited the place quite a few times...uses to seeing too mny snakes and monkeys... and the lone tiger. family picnics can be held there or just hang out there with your girl or boyfriends. the dinosaur there is epic for kids because it served as slide after getting inside its belly... the birds, lots of small eagles and noisy cuckatoos..

There was quite a variety of wildlife here. Unfortunately, the living conditions for many of the inhabitants are poor. Cages were too small and unclean. It was more a shame to see these animals rather than being a treat.

I remember our flight was at noon so we arrived past lunchtime. I feel so exhausted coming from our 3 day tour to caramoan and naga city so in my mind I was like hitting the bed is the best thing to do but on our way to our hotel we decided to pass this place and I got really... More

The entrance fee is only 20 pesos.. so affordable. It is clean inside, it's very obvious that cleanliness and orderliness are well maintained because when we were there we saw some cleaners doing their job. This was actually my 2nd visit. The first one was 3 years ago. Nothing has changed actually. No food stalls, not much animals just a... More

This place was just average. I felt bad for the animals as the cages and living conditions were not up to par with other wildlife sanctuaries. It was kind of fun to explore the place, but I would not return the next time I am in the Legaspi area.
