When we got to Cagsawa ruins, we were the 1st tourists to arrive. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for a little while. They have guides there who offered a photo shoot for a donation. We had a blast in our photo shoot! We really enjoyed it and our pictures were awesome. I didn't mind the price... More

Must go there early morning so that you have a clear view. Stay clear of the touts trying to take photos (optical illusions) on the old structures.

Postcard perfect photo opportunities are abundant here. The ruins in the backdrop of magnificent Mayon is beyond words and the fields beyond the ruins provide the best and unobstructed view of the world's most perfect conical volcano.

I liked it that the stalls are all in a row for easier shopping. What I dont like is how the goods are almost all the same and not much creative in terms of design and colors of the bags especially.

A great location to observe the Mayon Volcano. It's always good to have some historical tidbits on the side. Definitely a lovely sidetrip to a Donsol tour.

From the ruins, you can see the Mayon. In the foreground, are a large grounds of paddy fields, which makes the surroundings really wonderful and soothing. Best time to go is early in the morning Plenty of souvenir shops where you can get stuff but you need to bargain.

We went here because of it's historical value. Accordingly, what ever you can see now are the remains of a big church that was buried during a big eruption way back!

The first (and only) thing that will probably take your breath away would be the grandeur of mayon volcano sitting in the background of the park. The only piece of ruin would be the church that was left behind from the eruption. Hardly anything to explore besides looking at the volcano from a distance which is a great and only... More
