Legaspi is truly blessed with the Mayon Volcano. It's just awsome! I look at my pictures in it from way back and I'm always amazed at it's majestic beauty, what a perfect cone! You can view Mayon in a lot of places in Legazpi. The best time to view it is early in the morning or late pm. It is usually covered by clouds at other times. Check out Mayon at the Embarcadero, Lignon Hill, & Mayon Observatory. More

Mt. Mayon is a very beautiful volcano. Rarely have I ever seen a mountain so nearly perfect in its conical shape. Hikers will LOVE the hike up to its peak, as you get to walk through lush tropical forests and open areas that were until recently flowing rivers of lava.
