If you give pencil and paper to a kid and ask to draw a volcano, you probably get something that's similar to Mt. Mayon - a perfect cone shape with steam coming from the top. Just wonderful, breath taking scenery!

We had the opportunity to tour the entire vicinity of this volcano, we went up to the highest point possible. As a Filipino, I am proud to have a perfect cone volcano in my country.

The Perfect-Cone Mayon Volcano makes you wonder of God's greatness. Simply breathtaking! The epic that goes with it, helps one to know the story behind the life of a Bicolano. The tales introduces you to such diversity of myth yet understanding reality, of past yet faced with the present.

One of the greatest things I have ever seen. After travelling the world I am still fascinated and mesmerized by this volcano. Its perfect. Such a great sight and fun place to be for a few days. Do the quad biking. Walk up to the lava fields. Visit the ruins.

Possibly the world's most perfectly shaped volcano. Its still active and steams away merrily. It dominates the surrounding territory, but a great view can be had from Lignon Hill.

Mayon is very shy and is often shrouded in a mysterious bank of cloud. Often this means however that if you're flying past (either Manila - Virac or Manila - Legazpi) you can see it rising majestically out of the clouds - ask the flight people which side to sit on to see it. From memory it's the RHS going... More

Booked the atv tour with Donsol Eco Tours and they picked us up at the airport and brought us to the atv place. The tour is about 1 hour and you go through a river and splash in the water and get wet! It was cloudy when we landed in Legaspi so we didn't see the volcano. We stopped in... More

Pinoys will have their pinoy pride renewed when they see Mayon upclose. The nearer you are to the volcano, the more amazing it becomes. Pray for a cloudless sky to appreciate its beauty.

Nothing can be as perfect as this volcano. Merely looking at it gives you a good feel of how great this natural wonder was formed. Mayon Volcano can be seen even when you are on the road. The Php 20-30 entrance fee of the Cagsawa Ruins can give you the picturesque angle of this beauty. It is worth the 10-12hrs... More
