Beautiful views especially early in the morning.

Clear, unobstructed view of the Mayon volcano, exceptionally clear at about 5:30 am. Withing easy driving distance of the volcano and the planetarium.

The reason why I joined the Mayon 360 Ultramarathon was to see the Mayon Volcano myself. And when we landed on the airport we didn't see it very well as it was cloudy and next morning during the ultramarathon, it was a clear morning and I had goosebumps while running next to the Mayon Volcano. It was beautiful! I could... More

Unfortunately, the sky wasn't that clear on the date I visit. Lots of cloud there. However, it's still more beautiful than I imagined. One of a must-see thing if you're in Philippines.

You can't get enough of this beautiful volcano. Everywhere you go, you can't help but look at it in wonder in its perfection. Amazing.

Mayon is a picture perfect volcano. Probably on of th ebest in the world. Close to a perfect cone. Best viewed early in the morning as the sun strikes the slopes from an angle.

I loved seeing the volcano. Unfortunately, the top is often obscured by clouds so you can only get partial photos. However, by the time we were heading back to Donsol, it miraculously cleared and the vision of the full, perfectly shaped volcano was brilliant.

ATV trails are a little more costly but still worth it. The short trail is really "nakakabitin" and we are looking forward to visiting again and having the longer trail which is the 2006 lava trail. I do not recommend the 2006 lava trail to older guests because it requires some trekking that they may not handle.

This was our stopover when we traveled to Sorsgon. While driving you can't hinder yourself from slowing down just to see its majestic beauty. This wonderful nature is pride of Albay Province, you can view this from different towns of Albay, from Daraga, Guinobatan, Camalig, Legazpi, etc. Mayon volcano is best viewed in Cagsawa ruins, Lignon Hill and Legazpi Boulevard.

From right outside our hotel the Mayon Volcano looked to be about a hundred yards away yet it was over 10 miles away. The Volcano is large and the view right from our hotel was priceless. Get the chance to visit, do it.

Mayon is a famous landmark in the area. dont miss it. you can climb mt mayon up to just before the 6-km permanent danger zone. not really much to do once you're up there but the view is exhilarating and the air refreshing. by the way just make sure the volcano isnt on alert status when you climb.
