It was an off season, however, too crowded. Time we spent in queue was more than the time we spent enjoying the Gondola Rides and other features. There was no control. If you dont have a guide or if you are not a special guests, than be prepared for at least one hour queue at both Phase I and II.... More

The rating is purely from the point of the timing of our visit. The snow melts away and we had to trek another 25 minutes uphill to be amidst snow.Very tiring for the kids as none of them wanted to take the pony ride uphill. Once you reach the left over snow , it is full of sledge car operators... More

Maybe we went in the wrong month, but still everyone said there is snow and snow at end of stage 2 rs 1400 per person. Snow was sbout 500mtrs away a patch of 20ft x 20ft of muddied snow. Toi many guiees and pony owners shouting in your ears. If you dont take them hear expletives from them, if you... More

Shocking display of queue management with no control of proceedings and a chronic lack of care. Be prepared to grin and bear it a staff struggle with no overall direction. I defy anyone to go there and not understand within 10 minutes what simple steps would solve this issue. An embarrassment to Gulmarg which is a beautiful place and worth... More

The longest cable car ride I have ever made up a mountain. This Gondola transports you in two stages, almost 6000 feet. the views is fantastic but the price is little steep at Rs 1400 per head.

Gulmarg top is a pleasure and all peaks around are manned by the army. But from the time you reach the parking area at ground level, you are literally hounded by pony operators who give you extravagant stories of the distance to the Gondola and by guides who will arrange your Gondola tickets and the points to see. The taxi... More

The view from top is very good. the valley on first phase is pretty much good to spend some . visitor must go their by very early morning otherwise there will be no ticket for... More

Went to Gulmarg with family in Kashmir. An excellent place to be in. The main attraction of course is the GONDOLA (Cable car) at Gulmarg. being the summer season, thousands of tourists were there to have a ride of GONDOLA. The fascinating thing about GONDOLA was that you traverse from height of 8500 ft above sea level to 14500 ft... More

We travelled to this place during the off season, and we weren't interested in the snow. We arrived in Gulmarg promptly at 9 am for our allocated time of 11am Our taxi driver was mortally afraid of the horse men and guides to share the location of the cable cars! We scanned the horizon and headed off to what we... More
