We camped at Antelope Park in March 2012 for two nights. The facilities were great and reasonably priced. The food was terrible and very overpriced at $20 for dinner and $10 for a miserable breakfast. On both nights we were kept awake till 1a.m. and 11p.m. by noisy parties. The rest of the park is an overpriced "Canned Safari" experiance... More

There are so many activities on hand here, and coming down from Victoria Falls, found it much cheaper to do similar animal related activities here than there. Lion walk is only $50 here compared to $110 in Victoria Falls! Rooms are spacious and there are really beautiful grounds upon which the lodges are situated, and there are also camping grounds... We went to Antelope Park and stayed for a week-end to test new camping equipment before taking it for real bush camping. The campsite is nice, has braai stands, hot showers and clean facilities. It's well managed with very friendly staff. Unimpressed with semi-domesticated lions and elephants, we decided not to participate in any of the (very expensive) activities on... More

I just returned from Antelope Park as a Volunteer Research Photogragher (I am 64 years old) in the Stage 2 Lion Research program. To understand what goes on in this place is not easy to explain in this review. The basics would be to understand - this is Zimbabwe, with all it's challenges. Yes, it is a privately owned game... If you've never travelled in Africa and this is your first "safari" experience, there is a good chance that you will enjoy Antelope Park. However, if you're an experienced traveller who's spent time in the African bush game viewing, you will be overwhelmingly disappointed. Here are my thoughts: 1. The accommodation is nice. The rooms are pleasant and comfortable. No... More

This may be a place where people only spend a few hours, but i would recommend at least 3 nights, more if you have the time. Staff are welcoming, accommodation is excellent, food is good and wholesome, with a lot of the vegies grown in their own garden. The activities are wide ranging, but for me the highlight is the... We stayed at Antelope Park for 3 nights. They really try to make money out of everything! The buffetmeals are expensive for what you get and some activities are bad value for money. The accomodations are rather good and also the cub viewing is a must do! Afterwards we noticed they had charged our stay double on our creditcard. Antelope... More

We stayed at Antelope Park for several nights whilst on an overlanding trip through various African countries. Antelope Park was not only one of highlights in Zimbabwe for us, but one of the highlights of our whole trip! The conservation program which the park are operating in itself is fantastic and I have been enjoying watching the documentary on this... More

Antelope park is a world all on its own. They have a lion breeding program here and you can get to do a whole range of activities with the lions and also elephants and horses. Highlights were the lion cub viewing/play - you got to play with a 3month old Lion cub. The lion feeding, the lions go crazy to... More

I was a volunteer at Antelope Park in July/August 2010 and have to disagree with a couple of the reviews here. Volunteers are not all gap year, but many are hard working professional (like myself) who use their vacation time to volunteer. We pay just as the guests pay - we're not there for free not are our volunteer services... More
