Jo, Emmy and the rest of the RA team catered to all our needs! We wanted to bike from Kibuye to Gisenyi but only got 75% through. It's a tough ride but the views are spectacular

Rwandan Adventures was really great in helping us organize our bike tour from Gisenyi to Kibuye. They booked rooms, gave maps, gave advice, responded quickly--very useful and nice, and even advised friends of ours hiking instead of biking. The standard bikes are heavy but sturdy and had no problems. Only had a couple of issues (why not 5 star, otherwise... More

highly recommend! had a fantastic porter (who also served as my guide, despite his limited English, he was helpful and wonderful). tough two day trail (the second day was especially tough following a huge thunderstorm) but doable. Fantastic scenery, fun cycling--a great way to see the countryside and scenery off the beaten path. great tour--a must-do if you are in... More

Thanks for your kind review, we're delighted that you had a good time on your trip. Our main porter, Twizere (or PapaRuth), is very popular with customers. He doesn't speak English or French but everyone reports that they manage to communicate well with him. Please come back and cycle some more with us soon! More

Rwandan Adventures was fantastic! Personalized service and great at coordinating my entire adventure along the Congo Nile Trail. I rented a well-maintained hardtail mountain bike and hired a bike porter for the two day ride from Giyseni to Kibuye. The porter was a former Team Rwanda member! Overall, my experience couldn't have been better. I can't wait to do it... More

Cycling the Congo Nile trail was a really fantastic experience, nice views, great landscape, lovely people and a nice porter, Gisel, who carried my bags and showed me the way. Cycling is a wonderful way to experience Rural Rwanda. Kids screaming "Mazungu" and running along with you. The road was rough but absolutly worth it. I fell of my bike,... More

My Congo Nile Trail Tour was a Great moment, getting To see as much of the rwandan hidden beauty, simple local people, fantastic vistas from the devide, caressing breeze from the lake Kivu. It was a must-do escape... Worth the ride !

The bikes were basic but in good condition and I was pleasantly surprised that they lasted the day up the steep dirt tracks. We had a very enjoyable day trip to the Pfunda tea plantation. Our guide Kasim was very friendly and patient especially with providing rest stops! He helped us to buy lots of fresh fruit at a good... More

My husband and I (both 30 years old) had a wonderful time biking through the hills surrounding Lake Kivu. We had a wonderful guide, though he didn't speak English, but he was a nice guy. I would just warn people that this ride is no walk in the park. I work out at least 5 days a week, usually more,... More

We rented mountain bikes from Tom and the next day went on a day long trek of the pfunda trail. When renting the bikes on the first day, we rode along the Congo-Nile trail which runs alongside beautiful lake Kivu down towards Kibuye. Experiencing a new place on bike is so much better than in a car as you get... More
