A gentle trip to this blue hole from Oyster Island by dinghy or kayak takes you to this massive blue hole. Unfortunately the day before was visited by over 60 local school children who had stirred the visibility up some what, however it was still an awesome place to cool off and spend a couple of hours.

After a quick trip up a dirt track you get to this amazing water hole - blue clear water. Its pretty deep, and you can swim over to the banyan tree and climb up the ladder, grab the rope and swing and jump in!! great fun! the kids loved it!

We loved this little Blue Hole. We gathered a bunch of us together and got a Van Cab. We headed out to the Bleue hole for as little as $15 a person. Spend a few hours swimming and swinging on the rope swing. The drive itself was scenic and the Blue Hole was amazing. Watch out for the coral that... More

Self-paddling in tropical scenery like this. Wow, it really doesn't get much better. The paddle itself is stunning, but the colour of the blue hole is something else. We were the only people there too.

We kayaked down to the Blue Hole from Oyster Island (around 35-40mins against the current). The kayak trip was BEAUTIFUL - so still and the scenery was picture perfect. We were the only ones on the river. The Blue Hole was spectacular. Amazing colour - simply stunning! It looked like something straight out of the Garden of Eden! There is... More

Borrowed a canoe from our guest house and paddled about an hour to a river and another 30 min up the river to the end where we were the only two people to enjoy this absolute natural wonder. A huge deep clean clear hole with perfect visibility and loads of fish. Absolutely pristine . What a wonderful island!!

The blue hole itself is stunning to look at. We took the canoe up the river to the blue hole (about 10 mins slow paddle). The water is nice and fresh. However, as it had been raining in the previous days, there were mosquitoes everywhere. Bring your repellent! Unfortunately, there were not many fish in the blue hole.

We arrived at the Blue Hole very early as we were in the first group to get off the ship. As there were only around 50 of us when we arrived, the water was really blue. There is no snorkelling here, which we were told there was. It is just for swimming. The water is a little cold on getting... More

The blue holes on this island are simply out of this world. Every single photo looks photoshopped but it's the true colours of those natural wonders.

Nestled amongst the evergreen tropical forest and mangroves, Matevulu Blue Hole had a luring blue colour which made you want to jump in clothes and all. The water is so clear that you could see the bottom of the blue hole. The alkaline water is also cooler than than the ocean/beach water. A variety of fish also live in the... More
