One of the most picture perfect places I've ever been. Crystal clear bright blue water surrounded by lush green jungle. Unlike other blue holes this had little development around it and therefore felt blissfully untouched. The rope swing was a lot of fun too!

Visited Matevulu this week and we were the only people there. Amazing waters, good snorkelling and the local looking after the place lit a mozzie coil for us when we went in for a swim. Hard to believe these places exist! Fair price for such an experience and good to support local villagers

Get to this hole by kayak from oyster island, it's approx 4 klm but well worth the scenery! Make sure you have your camera, mossie repellant and enjoy the great swim at the end! Charge to land owner is 500 Vatican per person.

Made our trip to the waterhole by boat from Oyster Island, fantastic trip up the river. Once we we reached the waterhole we were great the most amazing blue coloured water we have seen. Water was a bit chilly at first but refreshing.

In the jungle at the end of an old WW2 runway, lies the magnificent Matevulu Blue Hole. It is a very wide and rather deep natural spring that has a hue of blue that has to be seen to be believed. While it is quite cool in the late afternoon, it is very refreshing. Youths will love jumping, diving, or... More

Our driver took us to the Matevulu Blue Hole on our day trip to Champagne Beach. I had seen photos of the Hole, but was still amazed by the colours. The water was chilly and crystal clear and you could see fish swimming with you. The young at heart in our group enjoyed the rope swing. Best of all, we... More

We went twice. Lovely to snorkel around. Nice garden area. Take insect repellant and avoid being there late in the day as the mossies appear and they are hungry!

This place is super paradise & beautiful. The water is cool & refreshing & our whole family enjoyed the swim. The owners were very friendly & even gave us fresh coconuts to drink. Worth a visit.

Even on a grey day the colour and clarity of the water is phenomenal. I imagine on a cruise ship day it might get a bit crowded but we basically had the place to ourselves.
