We arrived with high expectations, however, we arrived when some local kids were there drinking slabs of beer and carrying on spoiling the whole peaceful ambience which we assume would normal exist. We really couldn't wait to leave really. We have subsequently been advised that Riri is better.

Beautiful, go in the afternoon for smaller crowds. Jump off the high platform, you'll be glad you did! the admission is high but worth it if it's not busy and you stay for a while. Kayak in from Oyster Island Resort for the best experience.

The hole is about 10m deep and the water is so clear when you swim across the top you get something like vertigo. Amazing. Take snorkelling gear and ideally paddle up the river in a kayak (easily obtained from Oyster Island). It is about an hour paddling but very easy going and you get to see the forest up close.... Sublime, bluish, emerald, cool water mixed with Tarzan rope antics = awesome time! Definitely worth the trip.

My husband, 3 teenagers and our friends (with 2 children) all stopped here for a swim while in Vanuatu from our cruise ship. It was a hot day, so the clean, cold water was very inviting. There were also hanging ropes for anyone wanting to swing and drop into the water. And, the water in the blue hole is definitely... More

A must see in Santo, catch a local taxis (1000 vatu one way) and have a swim, worth a visit even for the view of a crystal clear blue water spring, entry fee 500 vatu at present

We kayaked from Oyster Island, where we were staying and it was one of the highlights of our stay! The paddle up the river is magical; watching the water become more clear and more blue as we got closer to the hole was spectacular. For a short time we had the hole to ourselves, and with the sun streaming through... More
