Stunning

The blue holes on this island are simply out of this world. Every single photo looks photoshopped but it's the true colours of those natural wonders.

Nestled amongst the evergreen tropical forest and mangroves, Matevulu Blue Hole had a luring blue colour which made you want to jump in clothes and all. The water is so clear that you could see the bottom of the blue hole. The alkaline water is also cooler than than the ocean/beach water. A variety of fish also live in the... More

I am glad most people loved this place, but I didn't feel it was a "must-see", you can tell it's over-touristed by the weird green algae growing around the side of the hole, some kind of nitrogen problem maybe there is a tourist bathroom nearby? I wouldn't tell anyone to come to Santo just to see this, and Champagne beach... More

Magnificent blue hole! You cannot believe the colour! You can drive to it or kayak as we did from Oyster Island. Lots of fun to do that! Worth the trip!

All of the Blue Holes are lovely and each has it's own charm. We went early in the morning and had it all to ourselves. Trent at Turtle Bay Lodge offered us free use of the ocean kayaks, they are more streamlined and so much faster than the broader "ride on top" kayaks so it was an easy 45 minute... More

We rented kayaks from Oyster Island to do this trip. Just a short paddle across the channel, then a 45 minute trip up the river; or so they said. I think we took a bit longer, but we were in no hurry anyway. The blue hole itself was fantastic. Colours incredible, and so crystal clear. And so cold! There's a... More

nice place to cool off on a hot day - just remember if you use the rope swing to ensure it is not tangled

It's amazing how clear the water is. Not too cold either. When there is a lot of people swimming it can stir up a bit but still worth the trip
