The Matevulu Blue hole is a large karst formation spring that is 18 meters deep and so clear that you can see all the way down. It does not have as many fish as a coral reef, but it has enough to be interesting, and they are easy to see. It is the source of the Matevulu river, which is... More

Gotta go - spectacular!! Went with 8 mates, had it all to ourselves, some of the clearest water you'll see and a welcome break from the salt!

Wow, very hard to describe the water, it is so blue but so clear. You just have to dive in! It must have been heaven for the U.S. airmen based right next to it in WWII.(You drive on one of the old airstrips to reach it, there were 5 in total on Santo) It is an absolute must visit. But!!!... More

You read about the crystal clear water but you have to see it to believe it. Stood on the rocky outcrops as other members of the party swims, you can get some great shots from above of them underwater! Very hard to beat on a hot day when the water is surprisingly cool - just the thing to wash away... More

Although an overcast day when we went, this is a "must see" location in Santo. The blue water (due to limestone) and the fist are excellent. Bring your underwater camera.

The amazing crystal clear blue water of the blue holes is a must to experience. Tarzan rope was great fun. If you can canoe yourself or hire a local to take you up or down the river do it. A great way to experience the river and surroundings.

We visited the blue hole on a stinking hot day and it felt wonderful to dive in the clear crisp water. There are a few platforms to jump from and a rope swing if you dare.

Absolutely amazing and the water was a delight to swim in. We visited on a typical day when there were about a dozen or so people there, so swimming was very private and we enjoyed the friendly hospitality of Jaquie and his lovely Wife. My Wife had a chat with Her, while I talked with Jaquie about he place and... More

This is spectacular. It is a must see when going to Vanuatu, it is not however on the island of Port Vila but Espirito Santo to see the crystal clear water that comes from the limestone rocks then flows to the ocean like a little creek would be on the top 5 things to do when going to this beautiful...
