As the rest have said it was great with some choice memories for the wife who's main goal in Tonga was to swim with the whales. We did two trips and the price was worth every cent. Thank you for a very professional business Phil and your staff Sione and Renatta.

My daughter & I have just returned from a fantastic experience, swimming with the Humpback whales in the Vava'u group of islands in Tonga. Phil & Renata own and run the Whales in the Wild business and with their team in the boats, do a fantastic job of getting you into the water safely and with the right information to... More

My husband and I visited Tonga last week. Whales in the Wild organised everything from our flights, transfers, to accommodation and our days in the water. Communication was excellent and our trip was perfect. Can't thank all of the staff enough for making our trip extremely enjoyable. The whale swims exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend this company.

Thank you Renata and Sione for a wonderful experience. "Whales in the Wild" are a very professional operation who strive to give you a safe and memorable experience whilst not interfering with the whales to any great extent. On our trip we saw a number of whales that were on the move and swam with a humpback whale with a... More

We just had a great time with Whales in the Wild. Phil, Renate, and their boat driver Siony (the whale whisperer) run a very professional outfit. We were picked up on July 4 at 8am at Reef Resort, where we were staying, and were kitted with a shortie wetsuit, mask, snorkel and full foot fins and we were off. They... More

Whales in the Wild are one of the top Whale watch operators in Neiafu and it would be wise to book as early as you can. My Whale watch trip was spoilt by bad weather and trips can get cancelled last minute. You are out for 6 hours, Wetsuits, masks and snorkels are all provided. There is also a toilet... More

Went with a couple different outfits, and Whales in the Wild gets the gold star. Owner Phil and staff were really invested in making our experience great - they really take it to heart - and his Tongan guides were tops - amazing at spotting whales and understanding their behaviors to maximize your chance of a great encounter. In the... More

I went out 3 days in a row with the Whales in the Wild crew. I found them to be a professional group. Always on time with the boat pick-up in the morning as well as organising rides to and from the airport and to a local Sunday Feast. On all three days on the boat we would be split... More

Tardy in writing this but wanted to review our 3 days with Phil who owns Whales in the Wild. Out of the 3 companies we went with in Tonga, this one is definately the best. Phil is a really nice man and does his absolute best to give you the most memorable experience, and his Tongan guide Sione is unbelievably... More

Phil and Langi took us out for a day swimming with whales. Needless to say the whale swimming experience was amazing, something I could not put into words. We were very conscious that we wanted to choose a company that respected the whales in their environment and to swim on their terms. Phil and Langi were respectful of this at... More
