High and lonesome, desolate and pristine. We got caught in a snowstorm that was wonderful. The altitude was more than we expected or we might have considered some time in Sucre to aclimate to the altitued. Many areas were above 5000 meters.

together with salar de uyuni, mountains, and lakes this region is wonderful; but I think that 3 days trip is too much, 2 days is enough.

I did this the day after the salt flats and despite the horrendous winds that nearly took me of my feet I think I actually prefered this to the Salt flats as the landscapes were so diverse not to mention amazing.
