My mother and I camped here for a night this month, and it was our first time here. I took time off from work so we could go on a trip together. This is a very small, very pretty park. There are only 20 campsites and the park website says they all have a water view. We made a reservation... More

Thank you for visiting our park with your mother and taking the time to post your review. We apologize that your experience with us did not exceed your expectations. Of the 20 campsites we have, six are not directly on the water. We reviewed the map and website and could not find a discrepancy, so if you could let us... More

This hidden gem is indeed small but it is packed with amenities in true form with the Arkansas State park system. There are 5 - 2 bedroom 2 bath cabins and they are the nicest cabins I have ever seen in a State park. They are well-equipped and have good quality linens and towels. There are 2 small loops of... This was our first trip to Moro Bay and will not be our last! The park is small compared to others we have stayed at but was well worth the trip! Our experience at Moro Bay was AWESOME!! The cabin – great value!! Cannot be compared to staying at a hotel for the same price! Comfortable beds, plenty of room... More

Everything thing the site says about Moro Bay State Park is dead on. From friendly staff to very well kept, maintained and clean cabins. The Park Rangers went out of their way to help you in any way possible. The employees at the park store and the employees who did the housekeeping was all exceptionally friendly. I have a 8... More

Great place for the family. Very clean and staff is very friendly. Cabins are large and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the kayaking, swimming, playground, riding bicycles and basketball court. We took a boat tour that was very nice. It is in short driving distance of a couple of towns if you need anything. It is a kind of a small... More

I've been to an assortment of places and this one is really nice. Usually quiet, very pretty, and for te most part clean. I like the camp grounds and they have many activities. I love to rent bikes when I'm there, for the most part there isn't to much traffic and you can easily ride in the road. The cabins... More

Kaitilin, Thanks for staying with us. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I want you to know I keep a record of comments and make request according to what visitors like and/or don’t like so your opinion does matter to me. I often hear great things about the cabins, camping, cleanliness, and grounds but not everyone gives us insight... More

I have visited over half of the state parks in Arkansas, and this is one of my favorites. It is a small quiet park that is full of charm. We enjoyed the interpreter activities immensely. The boat ride among the cypress trees was both interesting and breathtaking. The cabins are pricey, but they are newer and some of the nicest... More

I grew up in El Dorado and a big treat for us was to go to Moro Bay and cross the river by ferry to reach the park. The ferry is no longer in service as you can access the park by highway now. But the ferry is on exhibit and is very interesting especially for the kids. There are... More

I'm giving a mixed review based upon a couple of experiences so far. The first visit, a friend and I rented a cabin and we had the entire place to ourselves. It was lovely, peaceful and beautiful. The second visit, our family camped and kayaked the bay. Upon arrival, our campsite was occupied by a vehicle. The owner was boating... More
