Another world, mistique and scary at night. I think is one of the gratest places on Earth! Take a chance to see it, stop on the way and look arround. If you travel to Brazil - you gona pass Gran Sabana. Your way would pass by Santa Elena de Uairen. From that point you getting to the border with Brazil,... More

The Lost World, located over a 400 mts high granit block, called Guayana Chield, you can book a Tour from Puerto Ordaz or Ciudad Bolivar, 4 to 7 days on 4x4 over the savannah

I think I must be missing something reading other people's reviews as I didn't think it was worth all the travelling to get to. I would have preferred spending additional days at Hato el Cedra or Canaima. Some scenery was very nice and the... More

With low water in the river up to Angel Falls we were forced to walk across land to negotiate a set of rapids. The landscape was unexpected given that most of the area is rainforest and plateaus. This looked more like an African savanna.

This place is really special and one of the most special places I have seen in the world. The energy is mysterious and local people told me it is calling people from all around the world to come here. As you approach the area you can feel a change of atmosphere. The table mountains look like ancient landing platforms for... More

The landscapes are stunning, and all of the locals are really really friendly and thrilled that tourists are still coming to visit. There are a number of nice waterfalls to see (not as big as Angel Falls, but well worth seeing anyway). We traveled... More
