I found the Ciudad Universitaria a little disappointing. Maybe my expectations were too high as I knew it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Most of the mofern art there is from the 60's and the 70's and some of it looks run down, particularily the library. More

It has art peaces all around, but the state of them are abandoned. More

Amazing complex with beautiful architecture from the 50´s. Probabbly the best building is the Aula Magna where they offer musical concerts and other events. More

Some people just hate intelligence and culture, and those who are able to cultivate them, so they feel like they have to cut their funds and destroy fifty-year-old mosaic floors and walls to prove that we're all equal, and no one deserves to have better stuff than the rest. The old university of Caracas is on the world heritage list of Unesco and we spend quite some time there. The old building is wonderful and you can easily feel how things was a 100 years ago. More
