Impressive to see Caracas appearing out of the fog when you go down the Teleferico; despite at the op it was really foggy and hardly any vision the sailing down was great! What an impressive city (approach)!

Good sights from one (if not the one) of the largest cable car in the world. From the city to de top of the front mountain, "Waraira Repano" or "Cerro Ávila", the travel is slow, quiet and with a great view.

Going to Warairarepano, formerly known as Teleferico, is an amazing experience even for those who have a fear of heights. The 20 min ride up is amazing, I recomend doing that with daylight and ride back down at night so you can appreciate the lights of the city. At the top you'll find various restaurants and kiosks with food and... More

There aren't too many interesting things to do in Caracas, especially for tourists that don't know their way around and could get into trouble. The teleferico is worth the visit as the views are pretty spectacular. There are a few restaurants up there...nothing to write hoe about, but it is good for an afternoon. Bring a sweater, it gets cool... More

Wonderful place to admire the view of Caracas. At the top of the mountain there is a small ice skating rink, there are also kiosks selling typical foods and handicrafts of Venezuela. Excellent choice of fun!

Traffic in Caracas is terrible, but once in the cable car you immediate leave the traffic noise behind and start to climb above the forest on the mountains surrounding the city. On the top they still have a lot to do, it seems everything needs a lot of work, especially the Humboldt Hotel (reopening long overdue). There isn't a place... More

Had a plan to visit the Avila mountain, my family and I. The queues were so long that the waiting would have been about 3/4 hours. A total disorganization. Not worth the waiting, we left after an hour of queuing.

Heard a lot about the hustle bustle of Venezuela and opted to see the vast touristic attraction. Once you are in the cable car, you start enjoying the wonderful view of Caracas and Avila. I can never climb the mountain and this cable car shows wonderful city, greenery, colorful Venezuela. Once you are up, you can walk around and enjoy... More
