The reason why things are so limited at the moment is beause there were some awful floods in 2009. The whole area was devasted and they did not have the infrastructure to save it. They offered us a tour and showed us how the gaucho's train the horses (with the help of a collie) and also how they work with the cattle. The people genuine cared for the animals and it was amazing to see how they do this. Our higlight! Also he gave us a lot of information about the effect that growing... More

It was a long, hot, dusty walk to get here from the other side of town so perhaps that influences our view that it wasn't worth it. There were photos of earlier days, and some antique equipment--all postings in Spanish. Turns out they didn't charge the day we were therek, so it was worth the price of admission.
