Parsargadae historically is a really important place. However, when I visited the site, I was saddened to see that there is not much left of the place. Although it is a 30-40 minute drive in the middle of nowhere from Persepolis it is worth it. The tomb of Cyrus sits on a plain as a lonely rectangular chamber. Take the time to venture to the hill beyond (Throne of the Mother of Solomon) to get a birds eye view of Pasargadae More

It is a sacred place for Persian people, their first King, the man who founded the country 2600 years ago has slept hear. there are some natural views, a dam and its lake and things like this near the place and also the remaining of old city of Pasargad. More
