Just lose yourselves there. You could be on a desert island. So peaceful. Best when the tide is out.

Go and see this beach and walk from one end to the other. You will not be disappointed. It is vast, crisp white sand with a mountain backdrop. And at the time we went - it was deserted apart from the sheep having a paddle and the otters running about behind!
The most magic place on the outer hebrides, beautiful no matter what the weather is like, the colours are breathtaking, beach walk a must!
One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen (and I've seen a few). The sun setting over Taransay, turning the breaking waves a deep emerald as the crash on the whit sand is a view I'll never forget.

Beautiful beaches with white sand and amazing turquoise sea. Stunning mountain background which provide excellent opportunities for bird watching (waders and eagles) photography, walking/painting or simply relaxing on the beach.
Fantastic even given the cold windy day we visited. Sand goes on for what seems likes miles probably because it does! Great views across the water. We walked out along the beach then back through the dunes to try and shelter from the wind a bit. Car park has nice clean toilets.

This is by far one of the most beautiful beaches i have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The scenery is out of this world and if in Harris, shouldn't be missed!
Luskentyre beach is utterly beautiful with incredible views to Taransay and Harris. The road to it is narrow but in good condition and it is well worth visiting even if you don't get out of your car in winter. The colour of the pale sand and the blue sea is really stunning.
