We had a great weekend with Paddle Lochaber in Glencoe. The weather was fantastic, the tuition was excellent (Mark is very patient and adapts to the groups needs and wishes), a really nice group of people to paddle with and eating lunch on a deserted Island (except for the seagulls) was definitely a highlight! Would love to come back for... More

We had a wonderful afternoon trying Stand Up Paddling. Although we were complete beginners we were quickly up on the boards and paddling round the small islands in the loch, with some of the most spectacular scenery in the country as a backdrop. Our instructor was very encouraging and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the day.

My friend and I booked a half day course last minute during the Easter break. The instructor, Mark, was approachable, professional and tailored the experience perfectly to our level of experience. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and the wildlife on the loch, making it stand out from other actives that we took part in whilst away. He... More

We recently did the half-day Introduction to Sea Kayaking trip on Loch Leven and we had a great time. Our guide, Mark, was extremely professional and knowledgeable about kayaking and the area. It was just me and my partner on the trip, and he took the time to correct our kayaking technique and make that we were comfortable with the... More

My daughter and I booked the half day introductory course and can thoroughly recommend it to anyone interested in experiencing sea kayaking. Our instructor Mark was very patient and gave us great encouragement. His knowledge of the area and local history was very impressive. The scenery looking towards the Pap of Glencoe and the surrounding mountains was magnificent. The trip... More

I booked a half day sit on canoe trip for my partner's birthday, as he had always wanted to try kayaking and this was an introduction. We spent a lovely morning today pottering around Loch Leven with Ali and another couple. After a short safety briefing we headed out, and paddled across half of the lower loch. As there were... More

My son (14 years) and I booked a half day sea kayak experience with Paddle Lochaber and had a great time. We are beginners, and were given some initial advice and practice before heading out on the loch. We felt in very safe hands. Excellent. A really good way to get a different view of the hills and wildlife. Neither of us had ever tried sea kayaking before, but we soon got the hang of it. The equipment provided was first rate and the instructor knowledgeable. He took some photos of us which he then sent on to us; a nice touch.
