Absolutely scenic area and a landscape photographer's dream. SO much to be said about being able to stop at any location to take a few snaps. Can you find where they filmed the James Bond scene from Skyfall?

We arrived a little before midday which turned out to be great timing because they started to send persons up from after midday so we had sufficient time to make payments and get suited up with our rentals. It was the first time we visited and the first time my fiance and I went skiing. Everything was simple and as... More

It was our third visit to Glencoe (we just love coming back here) but the first time we took enough time to hike one of the many trails Glencoe has to offer. The Lost valley. It is a 2 to 3 hour hike up to a ridge from where you have an amazing view on a valley which can not... More

Seen on a CIE bus tour in August, 2015. It is a beautiful green valley with impressive twin mountain peaks. It can be seen by stopping on a highway viewpoint. There are no facilities, but beauty makes the stop well worthwhile.

Great to pass through here in the sunshine, but hair raising if you get a proper stormy atmosphere to pass through this area.

The drive reveals views that are one more stunning than the others. We saw fog and mist in the morning and the day cleared as we went on down the road. There are plenty of places to pull over for pictures. Absolutely stunning.

Stunning scenery, the drive is fantastic, great roads and plenty of viewpoints, the colours were amazing and changed with every turn. We were lucky with a bright sunny day but just enough cloudy patches to give further contrast and colour to our drive...this place was just an advertisment to return to Scotland for a much longer holiday...Lovely!

We were travelling to Fort William and decided to stop here for refreshments and a comfort break. The weather was fantastic and we had a very pleasant stroll and inspected the "pods" which were being prepared for the winter season. The landscape is bleak and you wonder how our ancestors survived in this hash environment.

the kids spent nearly 2 hours tubing while we walked up one of the mountain bike trails, back down and along the access road to drink in the views between the main road and the log cabin. wrap up warm if you're walking up top, and give yourself enough time to stare at these giant mountains and contemplate your insignificance!.
