We went to the Farm Shop for breakfast last week to try it out and we were terribly disappointed. We both ordered one traditional breakfast and this took FOREVER to arrive. I am not exaggerating when I say that it took 45 minutes. There were only two other tables when we arrived so this is inexcusable. There really needs to... More

Thank you Claire for taking the time to write your review. I am sorry to hear the service you received was not up to our usual high standard. I completely agree with you, 45 minutes is far too long to be waiting for your breakfast. I apologise for the unfriendly, grumpy and rude service you received in the Café. Your... More

Great selection of produce, reasonably priced (much of it cheaper than the supermarkets) but the quality is unmatched - so much better than elsewhere. The cafe is wonderful, staff are lovely and we haven't yet been disappointed by what we've ordered.

We popped in with two tired children after a day exploring the area before moving to Market Harborough. A delight to relax and be served in the cafe by friendly staff before then selecting from the beautiful and wide variety of fresh produce in the shop. We even came away with a lovely pottery plate for some of the cheeses... More

Market Harborough is buzzing at the moment, great shops with great service in the town but I was disappointed by several grumpy, unfriendly and not particularly helpful staff in Farndon Fields this morning - a pity as Waitrose must be giving them a challenge and service is so important - very disappointing. Am not sure I would bother to go... More

High prices, not always premium products, unhelpful, sometimes rude staff. Very disappointing as they have won awards for being a great Farm Shop. Home grown produce is good (potatoes, root veg, fruit in summer) but other produce is no better than supermarket and sometimes will degrade more quickly. Lots of expensive small brands (not always local) so your shop can... More

It was late in the day when I visited here so perhaps that's the reason why there was not much selection. However what I did buy was lovely. Also staff friendly and helpful purchases were carried out to the car for me which was very nice.

We often drive out this way and always call in to buy some lovely food. Everything on sale is delicious, it's a place to go for a treat! We then usually have a lovely tasty lunch in the café and the service is always excellent. Definitely worth a visit! Makes the rather expensive and snooty offerings in the Cotswolds the... More

I love this farm shop it has a huge variety of lovely food products plus a meat counter and lot's if yummy cakes to buy.I was pleasantly suprised to see that they now stock Hambleton Bakery bread. The cafe is busy but has a good menu and the soup is delish. Definately worth a visit if you haven't been before.
