Well worth the trip. The range of foods is impressive, and the gardening bits (plants, trees, compost, pots) and so on has improved over the years.

This USED to be one of our favourite places. We would often call in and buy some fruit and veg, treats and have lunch. However, they have lost all sight of the customer. Prices have gone through the roof and when we last visited the cafe we stood like idiots along with about 8 other customers waiting to be aknowledged... More

I’m sorry to hear you felt the service in The Kitchen was not up to standard last time you visited. I’m guessing it must have been very busy when you came (a Saturday maybe) and sometimes there is a short wait for a table. We aim to serve your drinks as soon as possible once you have ordered. However food... More

We visited Farndon Fields on our way to Leicester this week and we are so glad that we did! It was easy to park and we found the shop packed to the gunnels with all sorts of foodie delights. However, at 11 in the morning, we were in need of a coffee break and made our way to the cafe.... More

Visited the cafe for the first time in Friday lunchtime. We arrived early as we heard it could get busy, luckily we managed to get the only table left that could accommodate 4 people. Our drinks orders for the first two of us (the other two were arriving a little later) were taken and promptly brought out, I had a... More

First time that I been for lunch although I often go to the wonderful farm shop. The cafe was very busy, but the waitresses were very quick and efficient. I had ham, eggs chips and salad. The chips were crisp, fresh and quite the best I have tasted! Why can't everyone cook chips like these? The ham and eggs were... More

Nice, reasonably priced cafe with a good choice of foods made with locally sourced ingredients. The shop has a deli and butchers counter along with a good selection of fruit and veg. You can also find quite a reasonable range of locally sourced food and drink along with other products made by small producers. I'm sure we'll visit again.

Called in today (Saturday) lunchtime, somewhat optimistically with 7 other cyclists. We had to wait 10-15 minutes for a seat, but well worth it. The food was excellent - 3 of us had Farmer's breakfast, and probably ranks with the best, 1 had a pheasant stew, another had a burger. Some not so hungry "just" had a slice of cake... More

An acquaintance told me about Farndon Fields so I decided to give it a visit. My friend and I went for lunch. Nice cafe, good food, reasonably priced. The farm shop had some lovely produce. Definitely going again.

We enjoyed a lunchtime stop here, it was our first time and we will be back again. It is a typical farm shop tea rooms but the menu is more extensive than most we have been to and looks great. I had a full English breakfast, my wife a 3 egg omelette with mushrooms. All washed down with 3 pots... More

Great farm shop, lovely coffee shop. From the easy parking, the local produce, the delicious cakes, the freezer section and even the flowers there is nothing to fault here and much to praise.
