A fantastic boat trip with Issy age 12, Anthony and Bilbo the dog. I enjoyed the fascinating coast views, and sunshine, while our knowledgable Captain Harry instructed daughter and husband on the art of mackerel fishing. Caught plenty of fish for lunch and had some left over for freezer. I would definitely go again.

A massive thanks to Matt for taking my dad and my brother, myself and Bob out for a fantastic deep sea fishing trip. Caught loads of fish including, cod, bream, huss, pollack, mackerel, a ray and even squid! Thanks again to Matt and Bob for another great trip. Can't wait until next years holiday in Lyme to go out again!

Grandpa, daddy and Alex (aged 10) managed to catch 25 mackerel in our 1 hour trip . A fantastic outing, even though a bit "choppy", we felt safe at all times. Harry was really good at showing us what to do. He arrived on time and was excellent in his approach to non-fishermen. Well worth the money. We ate 10... More

Whilst our kids made a big catch (9 Mackarels within 40 min) we had time to enjoy the nice view on the boat trip and got interesting news from Harry. Afterwards the mackarels out of the oven tasted very delicious.

My step son had an inset day today and I thought maybe I could take him for his first experience of fishing from a boat. After googling many mackerel fishing trips along the east Devon/ Dorset coast I was beginning to give up hope. As it was late in the season and not many boats seemed to be going out.... More

Went out with my wife last week and one other couple, between the four of us we caught 16 mackerel in the hour. I must say this was down to the local knowledge and tactics of Harry. In the past I have fished for Mackerel using feathers, but Harry advised us to use the hand lines instead, and this seemed... More

We went for the 3-hour option. Harry is very knowledgeable about the area and the fish, and looked after the boat of 9 people very well. He also took the trouble to take a live specimen of a more unusual fish (tub gurnard) back to the local aquarium. We caught plenty of fish between five species, so that always makes... More

Harry is just what you want, helpful and knowledgable. Nice friendly trip out and a bit of fishing complemented the views of Lyme. Good value. We will do this again.
