Natalie is a relaxed, informative and approachable tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed her company. She obviously has a depth of knowledge and is an ideal person for the role. On a blustery cold but sunny lunch time with a small party of 'retirees' she gave value for money. We came away feeling 'Well, I didn't know that!' and feel... More

A fantastic tour, very interesting. Natalie is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and brings the book to life. If you are a fan of the French Lieutenant's Woman you will love this tour.

Thank you very much for your feedback and your kind comments. You're right - I do love that book - almost as much as the town it is set in. Best, Natalie More

I have taken two school groups on Natalie's Mary Anning walking tours. Natalie is knowledgeable and entertaining. She speaks to the children on their level, without ever patronising them. We all enjoyed every minute!

Natalie is approachable and relaxed and is willing and able to answer any questions we threw at her. She knows everyone and everything about Lyme. I loved the atmospheric readings from The French Lieutenant's Woman, read in situ looking over the Cobb and beneath the trees in the Undercliff. I particularly appreciated being able to look round John Fowles house... More

What a wonderful experience! Natalie was very welcoming and made every effort to give us an informative and interesting tour based on our needs. Obviously well researched by Natalie who has a wealth of local knowledge and a real enthusiasm and passion for her work. Really glad we found her and will definitely be rebooking should we revisit Dorset in... More

Loved the opportunity to walk in Jane Austen's footsteps and to think about why she selected those particular locations for Persuasion. Was also impressed with Natalie's background knowledge about Lyme a she pointed out which buildings were and were not present during Austen's time. We went on a second tour about the remarkable Regency fossil collector Mary Anning. The heavens... More

We contacted Natalie before our holiday to west bay as we were interested in seeing the sights and filming locations if broadchurch. Natalie was fantastic even before we met her sorting out the date for us so we didn't miss out in the tour. Upon meeting Natalie she was warm and welcoming. The tour was fantastic and Natalie showed us... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this walk. Our guide (Natalie) had a wealth of information about Jane Austen's stay in Lyme Regis, as well as the various 'Persuasion' locations. It brought the Musgrove's visit to Lyme very much to life.

We went on the Mary Anning walk and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very informative and made me want to buy the books that we spoke about and read them to find out some more. The walk was extensive and worthwhile. These informative walks are what holidays should be about learning the history seeing things you wouldn't have seen otherwise.... More

A large group of us recently went on the Jane Austen themed walk around Lyme. Despite the wet and wild weather, we had a fabulous time! Natalie our guide was informative and engaging and had lots of fascinating background information. She's very professional but also has a relaxed, friendly presentation style, enhanced by the Regency costume she wore during our... More
