The beach / area is also referred to by some other names; e.g. Harbour Cove, Hawkers Cove & Gunpoint. This beach, as well as the area along the top of the Coast leading to the beach, was used... Also beware of nettles underfoot on the recently strimmed grass parking, there was no way round them, I got stung ankles.... More

Gorgeous environment not far from Padstow but a million miles away from the rat race. Beautiful sandy coastline with a lovely peace about it. Great day out with a chair towel and a picnic.

Dogfriendly, so if you don't like dogs, not ideal, but if you do, the happy frollicking is enough to keep you entertained and... More

Tregirls beach is 500 metres north at grid reference SW 911 769. The north-facing beach is in the River Camel estuary and is backed by dunes. The South West Coast Path runs behind the beach. Great for kitesurfing. At low tide the beach extends half-a-mile into the estuary and at its northeast point forms the infamous Doom Bar. Traditional Cornish... More
