Tregirls is a beautiful beach with stunning views of the Camel estuary. At low tide it is possible to walk across the sand for ages (beware of the incoming tide). Tregirls is not easily accessible and parking is restricted although in the busy season there is a car park. If peace and solitude is what you are looking for Tregirls... More

This beach is like a desert island. White sands and shallow beach stretches for miles when the tide goes out. Hard to get to but well worth it. No shop. No toilets. Just heaven.

So pleased we found this beach, we had it all to ourselves and our dog loved running along it. It was clean, quiet and offered stunning views we would definitely come back!

This is a lovely unspoilt beach with golden sand and warm shallow waters to paddle. Can bring the dog and sunbathe taking in the gorgeous views across the bay. No toilets or facilities but makes up for it in beauty and tranquillity. A real gem.

This is a lovely beach, lots of sand for making castles and if you walk along a ways, it's dog-friendly all year round. We brought out dog here for many walks from Padstow, along the coastal path. Very relaxing, lovely cooling sea-breeze and plenty of sea to paddle in when the tides in.

This is the place to go if you wish to escape the bustle of Padstow's narrow streets. The beach can be accessed at low tide by walking across the sand from Padstow, or via the coast path or from the car park just before you get to Lellizzick B&B. There are no facilities here, just sand, turquoise sea and beautiful... More

......and totally unspoilt. However there are no facilities whatsoever for eating, drinking or and toilets, but that doesn't detract from it's beauty. The beach / area is also referred to by some other names; e.g. Harbour Cove, Hawkers Cove & Gunpoint. This beach, as well as the area along the top of the Coast leading to the beach, was used... Parking was in a field, which was great value at £2 a day but where the track for the field meets the road it's rutted- beware of the drop if you drive a typical type of car (clio/focus/passat etc). Also beware of nettles underfoot on the recently strimmed grass parking, there was no way round them, I got stung ankles.... More
